The Atomiswave is a custom arcade system board and cabinet from Sammy Corporation. It is based on Sega's NAOMI system board (thus it's common to see the "Sega" logo on its boot up screen). The Atomiswave uses interchangeable game cartridges and the cabinet's control panel can be easily switched out with different control sets, including dual joysticks, dual lightguns and a steering wheel.

i love obscure hardware like this!!! there are some good games for this system!!!
I would love a collection of these games on modern platforms. The only difficulty they'd have is getting Sega, Dimps, and SNK to agree on it and the legality of the Fist Of The North Star rerelease.
All of these games can be played under emulation on any decent PC. They also play on a Sega Dreamcast.

@@omegarugal9283 They're not ports. The Sega Dreamcast and the Atomiswave have the exact same hardware and specs. The only conversion done was to put the Atomiswave arcade ROMs into ISO images that can be burned to CD and run on a Dreamcast.
I just heard about the Atomiswave. and did a search thinking I was about to have a hard time finding game videos.
I thought I was going to have to sift through dumb youtubers and their 15 minute opinion videos.
No way there would be a good VGL style video.

Atomiswave is the arcade system in which SEGA-Sammy began to work after Dreamcast project was abandoned
I bought the DreamShell with SD Card adapter for under $20.00 USD to play these. Money well spent and no modding my Dreamcast.

Dolphin Blue reminds me of Hard Corps: Uprising, that Contra game on X360/PS3.
