Noticed the same leak on my Rabbit today, glad to know it was a fairly easy fix, I was ready to replace that whole water outlet housing and hoses but will try the sensor o-ring first 👍
This is one of those "while you're at it" jobs. Just replace the coolant temperature sensor which comes with a new gasket and clip. Easy to do and not expensive. Just be sure to give the supplier your VIN number so you get the correct one.
My brother thank you so much I had the same problem I thought it was a heater hose was stressing because I couldn’t find the hose anywhere well appreciate...
Awesome man thanks. Been losing coolant and I seemingly have a issue where my engine is smoking. Wondering if it is related. Trying this first since it’s the cheapest and most easiest fix to follow
Thank you so much ❤. Hey did your Volkswagen leak randomly also... like sometimes you'd have to add water or coolant twice in a 30 minute drive and sometimes you could drive it 2 or 3 day's without the coolant light beeping?
Very helpful, a good presenter and no stupid music! Subscribed! Now I hope that's what my '09 2.5 Rabbit is suffering from.
You have to be kidding me...i had this leak now for about 4 yrs i thought it was a hose under the intake....thanks bro

Thank you this was very helpful. No point in paying tons of money for someone else to fix it.

Precision 210 pso from OReilly
Thank you so much. Did this fix your leak?
yes. it fixed mine.
My engine started to overheat yesterday and there was steam coming from this exact spot.

no, I noticed a steady loss of fluid.
How much were you refilling it? thanks!!! @@codytoppel1084
I am doing 200 ml every drive (15 min drive)
@@brendan1444 mine was more like 200 ml every couple of days, and I drove 2 hrs a day at least during that time.
@@codytoppel1084 thanks for your reply! I’ll check to see if it’s the same thing. I think mine is more aggressive though.
What’s the actual part number they don’t know what t210 is
I have the same problem for a 2007
What is the cooling part that it was connected to?
I don’t understand?
@@codytoppel1084 I figured it out it’s a coolant flange , the one on my Jetta is corroded and is leaking .
Kris p bacon? Either you are an Oregon files fan? Or got the old gag from a long time ago
How does the clip come out?
it just pulls off, pull it the opposite way of the opening
Are you sure it’s a t210?
That was the o-Reilly part number. They can match it for sure if you bring it in
That’s what O -Reilly said it was. Bring it in..they can match it
I know this is late but it is most likely a national o-ring part # 210
