I fell in love with this iconic French perfume way back in the 1980s, when my beloved Auntie wore it. Sadly the perfume was reformulated in the 1990s and it just is not the same 😭.

I love Arpège. The first Arpège I fell in love with was the reformulated beautiful black bottle with golden stopper, then I looked for vintage ones. I have the same extract and edt versions you have, and I think the extract sorta reminds me more of the reformulation than the edt. It's like a stronger, richer formula of the modern Arpège.

@@SelfcareKaren No, I never even tried. I guess we'll never know what it really smelled like back in 1927. My vintage bottles are still good, but surely time changes everything, it must have smelled a little bit different when it was new.
@@AndreiIsrael Good point. Maybe what I smelled & used in the late 80s/early 90s was not actually like the original... but that is a scent I love so much and my vintage bottles are not well enough preserved to really be true matches.
Can you elaborate more about the eau arpege in the tall bottle the one that you've sprayed.
I shall try! It is quite different to the eau de parfum of Arpege - way less intense. From the same family but a bit removed. My bottle unfortunately has oxidised so the smell is even further removed to the scent I knew as a teenager.

You know how they say that theneck is a woman's best friend, because only theneck gives away her true age, and you are so young. I would say it has to do with your beauty that comes from within. @@bengazi179 I am definitely coming up to 50. I will have a think about my neck care routine & doing a video on that... It might be a bit boring as I do not do anything special - just use what I use on my face, on my neck also.
