If your door hinge has cracked it can cause the door to drop, and so would need to be replaced.
Here Mat takes you through the process step by step.

The door on my machine had 4 torx screws around the hinge and lock, but the remainder were plastic rivets. Those were simple to drill out with a 10mm wood drill, just watch you don't go too deep. With the last one drilled out the two halves of the door come apart. For re-assembly the ex-riveted holes can be secured using small washers and self tapping screws.
I removed the plastic inner gasket. Separated it from the hinge, removed hinge, added new one, replaced gasket
Nice
Hi there. My Bosch machine has plastic retainers nstead of screws on the door itself. There is no thread on these. Any idea how I remove these to swap out the hinge itself ? Thanks in advance
Did you ever work this out? We have the same problem 😢
@@jdawg3444 No - afraid not - still persevering with a dodgy door :-(
@@nickkaye8440 i managed to get it out with a lot of perseverence. Just used a flat head screwdriver to edge it off slowly
How to do it on a model without screws?
If it helps someone out: the sides are stuck together by glue so try heating the side very gently. That way you can seperate the different layers
