In Florida we have card rooms. We are not actually playing against the dealer. The dealers provide a service. The person we are playing against is what they call a banker. So it's the players vs the banker. The bankers are employed by a company that banks for card rooms. Any player could be a banker but it takes a lot of $$$ to do that. Make sense?
Okay..... Most hands you won't have a "bonus" type of hand. And if betting 5 on queens up, 5 on ante, 5 on super bonus, 5 on play When you lose, you're down $20. When you win you're up $5. You need to win four out of five hands to break even. Your side bet needs to be a small fraction of the main bets or better yet.... Wizard of odds says never play the side bets.
I am a big advocate of Wizard of Odds, although there are some side bets I always play. I just love side bets. In this series I am playing some things safe other times I change up my bets. When I play a game for the first time I am very safe while I learn. In the future I will play less on side and more on main bet. Thanks for watching!
