I wish I did have an accurate age but I don’t. My now elderly mum (88) took it on a trip to the UK back in the early 1980’s I think, to the Museum of mankind or something & they were flummoxed. They thought it might have been made in Europe maybe around the 1600’s but no one there really knew. That was the reason for uploading the video. I’m hoping one day someone with expertise / knowledge might know something a little more definitive.
Very ornate, the design tells such a story 🙂 I suppose it was originally used as a cup, do you know about how long ago it was made?
