An unexpected performance to say the least. Mason looks like he learned a thing or two from a particular future Hall of Fame quarterback. Rudolph's coveted arm talent paired well with the freakish athleticism of George Pickens. Wild to think that Rudolph's week 16 game has been better than any other Steelers QB performance this season.
An exciting win to say the least. The Steelers are still very much in it and perhaps with an all new look offense, they might have a little bit of magic to finish the season strong! In a game that felt like a blast from the past, Mason Rudolph ignited a fire under the offense that we haven’t seen in years. I thought we were more likely to see TJ playing QB before the offense scored 30 pts 😂 Awesome win & MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄

The last thing I expected this game was to win by 23 points and have a good game on both sides, it felt like a game from 2017 if you ask me.

Mason Rudolph saved Christmas
First game in a long time, I was able to watch comfortably after the 3rd quarter. EVERY GAME IN THE PAST 2 years has been down to the wire. Thank you Steelers and Mason for my blood pressure to be lowered this week! MERRY XMAS!!!
It was an odd feeling. Even at 14-0 I was only extremely cautiously optimistic.

This game felt unreal. I loved it.
From a Cleveland Brownie... this was so typical AFC north football, and I love it. The team on the 3-game losing streak comes in absolutely PISSED and just slobberknocks the other team. IMO, the best divisions in the NFL when our last place team is equal to or better than some other division's first place teams.
Nearly the whole game I was thinking to myself, "This can't be real, right?"

I said in the preseason Rudolph was the best QB on the team and should have started week 1. He honestly should have been given the opportunity last year. Pickett still might be good be he's not ready yet just like Rudolph was in the beginning
I always thought the treatment Mason received from us fans was unfair. Was happy to see him put up a great performance, he earned this. They actually looked like a team!
Mason Rudolph deserves all the credit for he showing, tomlin was so content for the last 2 years to let him set hopefully they will do the man right by offering him something more that chicken feed for a raise or if he chooses to leave some team will get a play worthy of helping a real coaching staff team do more amazing things, Go Mason prove tomlin and company WRONG AS USUAL

I was ecstatic at work listening to this on WDVE. Hearing Bill Hillgrove's voice crack when Pickens caught that second TD was epic. What a fantastic game. It's been since what, 2020 when the Steelers last laid a whooping like this?
This game was certainty a refreshing sight at a time when our fan base really needed it. Steelers haven’t blown anyone out since 2020, if I’m not mistaken. They actually looked like a REAL team for a change. And way to go Mason !!

Rudolph Mason looked confident and decisive. I loved the way he looked off the safery and hit Warren in the flat when they were backed up in their own EZ. Loved the rainbow sceeenpass and the urgency to get out of the EZ after the fumbled exchange worth Warren. Had he hit Diante deep, i would rate his performance an A+.
Tomlin must be terrified. I hope the Steelers manage to keep this up. And Rudolph was great tonight. I'm glad they played so well.

I think where he's coming from, is the fact that Tomlin probably looks bad for keeping Trubisky in for so long. He stinks. BUT I must admit Tomlin had this team ready, and he even won a challenge so I'll be easy on Coach T this week.

As a long time Steelers fan it's good to see a thirty point game. Wow, long time to see explosive plays like years ago with triple Bs: Big Ben, Bell, and Brown.
Nice production! Perfect soundtrack for an epic Christmas win. A couple key takeaways:
1) The Steelers offense didn't make me hate football tonight. Yes, it was the struggling Bengals, but it was also the struggling Cardinals and Patriots. Refreshing.
2) Rudolph's run at 2:04 -- serious cred. And he looked like a totally different QB than that last time we saw him. NFL-level reads and mechanics. Ride the hot hand.
3) Didn't settle for being up 1 score. And up 21-0 with 2 minutes left in the first half, still drove for more points. When was the last time?!
4) Pickens at 2:45 👀. Y'know, just skip the blocking anytime you go 4/195/2. We're cool with it. (But block anyway!)

If Tomlin doesn’t start Rudolph the rest of the season then he should be fired as head coach. Rudolph has the best arm of the 3 and the most composure. He gives you at least a puncher’s chance every week with his ability to connect on home run balls to his wide outs.

QB play changes the entire game. Suddenly the pressure comes of the defense and they make plays. Suddenly the opposing offense can't relax all because of the Steelers QB play putting pressure on the Bengals.

The offense was catered to Rudolph's strengths. Some slants there BOOM and there. He was able to get to second and third reads. Dude was calm.
Pickens is immature, yes. But Tomlin and Co. got 8-9 seasons out of Antonio Brown. Pickens is nowhere as tough as Brown.
His physical tools are the greatest I have ever seen for a Steelers WR. If you can throw it accurately to Pickens and he has a step or two on the DB, Pickens will score. I have not seen that since Jerry Rice. Rice had immaculate route running and Montana or Steve Young at QB as well.
This is the most complete game that The Steelers will play all season.
Elevate Rudolph, release Trubisky, sign Dobbs. Lets go!

Yes browning, there was a reason they cut you. Even a bust can have a good few games
If the Steelers didn't do their usual Tomlining the prior weeks, this would've been a win for the record books and we would've been in the driver's seat for the playoffs. Mason should've started the last two weeks. We win in spite of Tomlin, not because of him.
Should've never even considered starting Trubisky. We'd be 10-5 right now if we hadn't fielded that lousy excuse for a quarterback.

This was the worst case scenario. The Steelers looked the way they should have looked (albeit against a sorry-ass Bengals team that is 0-5 in the division). Now Tomlin will definitely keep his job and continue the perpetual exercise of underwhelming 9-8 seasons (at best).
Steelers and Tomlin need a divorce more than a Kardashian and any NBA player. And please stop with the Mason Rudolph stuff. There’s a reason he’s a third stringer.
