E30 Boosterless Brake Bracket Overview & Install

- It's no secret. The brake booster relocation is the hardest part of the V8 into E30 swap! The factory booster is in the way. Some choose to use E32/E34 booster setup and relocate behind the headlight. This is costly, requires lots of custom work, clutters engine bay, and requires the removal or relocation of the complete abs setup including brake lines. With this boosterless brake setup bracket, swap time is shorter, and swap is cleaner. Our boosterless brake bracket allows you to use Wilwood or Tilton pedals/master cylinders. Everything is relocated tightly and neatly under the dash in the factory pedal area. When the conversion is done, its all hidden! Simply mount the reservoirs in your engine bay and that's the only give away. Easy way to get a Wilwood or Tilton pedal box in your E30.
Brake Fluid: We recommend ATE Original TYP 200 DOT4 for its dry boiling point of at least 536°F and wet boiling point of at least 374°F. Readily available here: amzn.to/40rXHYX

What seethe benefits of booster delete?
The most common reason for a brake booster delete is to make space for engine swaps or to clean up the engine bay. In most E30 engine swaps, (ex. 24v swaps, S54, LS, M6x, etc.) the brake booster is in the way. While there are some other brake booster alternatives for certain swaps, some require heavy modifications, and the brake booster delete is an effective way in resolving this issue.
Setting the master cylinder to 5/8 does not work at all.
what should i do?
Get big brakes
Will this work on a 56 coe ford ? Chassis is a 88 c3500 silverado
We designed this around the E30 chassis and can't say it would fit that car.
Can this work on a 1985 e23 bmw ?
We have not tested it on an E23 but do not think it would be compatible with that chassis.
What is the specific issue with the airbag column not being possible? would it be possible to modify the bracket further to make it work?
nevermind, just pulled mine apart, mounted the bracket and pedals. Master will not fit, the back of it hits the steering joint. now for the joys of swapping a steering column
