Can we get a guide set up and breakdown of stats? Also does Chimera skill from Hikari completely deletes your weapon from your inventory or is it a one time use per battle?
Chimera is unlimited use and, completely delete weapon but we can load previous save any time :). - Passive peak performance - max out phy atk stat - accessories relate to BP boost and critical - Battle test blade and giant staff raise potency of phy dmg. And yes, Temenos with Alpione's necklace.
What passive do you have on your damage dealers? When I finally set up Temenos he does like 34k on the first hit per hit but you do 71-73kI have a little more sp than you as well and have battle tested staff on him for maxed out elem atk and Alpione’s Amulet. I don’t understand why he is still hitting so low, what I’m I doing wrong?
Use other staff that raise potency of light base atk (the staff i mentioned give 325 elem atk and +30% light dmg). You can max out sp and elem atk with other equipments /nuts /passive skills. Alpione's need to make hp reduce to 1 for 2.5x increase dmg. Elem atk 999 is more important than SP but I manage to make 600+ sp also.
One of the most interesting things about this battle for me is the order of characters. It's there a better way to guarantee order? Sometimes my order is perfect, sometimes it's terrible, any recommendations there? Like it doesn't seem directly related to their speed.
Speed, I try to sort the speed as much as possible (e.g. Agnea 3rd and Temenos had lowest speed) by equipments (+ or -) However, it's increase chance not guarantee. So I recorded many videos and select the best time (avg 2-3 mins). Many people keep ask me about gears, all support travellers wear thing abt speed haha.
Incredible video, it really is helpful! One problem though: everytime I try Phase 2 my characters move as intended (thanks to Speed manipulation), but Galdera moves last the turn after his extremities die (so directly after the One Step Ahead turn), making it impossible for Temenos to nuke him again. Can it be fixed through resets or is there some other trick to have him go first and lift his barrier?
Battle test blade & Giant club raise physic dmg 60% passive 50% / accessories 50% and +100% for critical and critical scope of Inventor use on boss (guarantee critical hit).
All damage calculation are calculate on percentage increase and multiplying method. And try to max out atk stat with gears and nuts that you can find. 1st most important are: break / buff atk /debuff armor 2nd gear and passive: Battle test Blade & Giant staff Fang of ferocity/Finishing claw Peak performance And Alpione's necklace (need 1hp to activate 2.5x dmg increase) Cheers!
Upgrade Accessories Peak Performance A step ahead and sure Deal more dmg (for exceed 9,999) Throne has 600+ speed and 900 Phy atk with 1 Battle test blade (+30% phy dmg) And her night buff (+50% speed & 50% dmg)
Congratz bro. Appreciate that you can apply for your startegies from observed and combined with your understanding about the game mechanic. They're just just break/buff atk/debuff atk and some passive skills (only Peak Performance) and special accessories (Hikari and Temenos /or any damage dealer).
He mentioned in a previous comment. Using peak performance, battle test blade, for accessories use fang of ferocity / finishing claw. All about dmg multiplier . I am trying to test this out
Use Saving Grace on everyone, maintain over-heal much as you can. Abuse the power of Dohter's Charity to throw Energizing Pomegranate (L) and Revitalizing Jam on everyone. Abuse Alfyn's Concoct to heal and restore BP. Even Galdera cannot defeat the power of Items.
I just beat Galdera in OT1 yesterday, on my second attempt. On my first attempt, I easily made it past the first phase, only to get wiped in the second phase, before my Warmaster could use Winnehild's Battle Cry (WBC). On my second attempt, I swapped Alfyn (Hunter) to my second team, and it set me up perfectly to leghold trap Galdera (after the adds were destroyed with the first WBC), then unleash the second WBC to end it. First phase team: Cyrus (Sorcerer) Tressa (Runelord) Ophelia (Starseer) Primrose (Scholar) Second Phase: Therion (Cleric) Alfyn (Hunter) Olberic (Apothecary) Hannit (Warmaster) Cyrus/Tressa were running BP Eater, Surpassing Power, Elemental Edge and Aid Hannit was running Fortitude, BP Eater, Surpassing Power, Physical Prowess On the first phase, the key for me was destroying the souls ASAP. I did end up with a turn where all of the souls were summoned. However, once the "surging elements" aura was used, it was easy to use magic to quickly destroy them and break the Eye. Then, Runelord had light rune set up, and Cyrus had Elemental Break set up to deal massive amounts of elemental damage. All of my characters were level 80. Highly recommended support skills for your supports: Patience (amazing) The show goes on Saving Grace (also amazing) Persistence SP Saver Good luck, if you ever attempt again!!!
max stat, buff atk , debuff armor , critical , break , accessories , support skill I applied all game mechanic for maximum dmg. And need individual exp to manage turn order that too long to explain.
For Oct2 is quiet simple. Temenos: Alpione's amulet (with 1hp) ,elem atk 999 and try to max out sp as can. Also equip staff that increase light element potency. Hikari: passive skill = peak performance and equip Battle Test Blade & Giant's Club (to raise physical potency dmg) Other are break / buff atk &debuff enemy armor as clip.
@@UtamaSatriaOh sorry, I mean it is simplier than OT1. OT1, you need to set 4 certain passive skills while OT2 you only need to set for Deal more damage, Peak Performance for dmg dealer (and all 8 traveller have A step Ahead) In OT2, it's depend on equipments instead. - Alpione's (the one who carry this doesn't need peak performance) - Fang of Ferocity (increase dmg when using BP boost) - Finisher's claw (increase dmg when land critical hit) For break/buff/debuff/atk stat 999 , I think everyone can do.
Please, show char equipment, skills and gear. Otherwise this kind of videos are not very useful. Nuts are limited so it is important to know if there is solution in some cases. Leveling up is pointless as stats increase very slow. Besides, with very similar numbers and gear people make very different damage values and nobody knows exactly why 😅
I spend nuts which I could find during normal run on main dmg dealer, and never try to find all nuts or farming them from octopuffs. For gears and skills set up they are very long to describe. But simple way are max out atk stat and only passive peak performance require (50% dmg increase) except for Apione's necklace on Temenos and other on Hikari. I apply dmg calculation formula from Octopath1 spreadsheet :).

I just tried it like over 3 or 4 times using different configurations and yeah... this is just nonsense going on in this video... guys using a cheat of some kind.
lol, you can't do it so you assume I use cheat. Please try to understand game mechanic: many items, passive , buff&debuff are increase damage in percentage. And that're the power of multiplying. Love how the music in OT2 transitions into phase 2 without a break unlike in 1
Thats because its only one music
