That was the one and only question I was asked at my very first interview as a 16 year old "What school did you go to?" Terrible this bigotry is still so rife in our country.
"What school" or "what church?" A wee special handshake etc. Having your mum say, "what's that boy's last name? Sounds Catholic, you be careful you don't end up with a bunch of weans!" In fairness she was from Anderston in the 40s-50's and all her mum's brothers' were in the Orange Lodge. I fixed her by marrying an African American sailor...😁👍
