Substrate for Powder Blue & Orange Isopods |

This video goes over how I set up our Powder Blue & Powder Orange Isopod, porcellionides pruinosus, substrate. To give purpose, I am moving the isopod culture from a 6 quart to a 40 quart container. I feel the larger container will allow for a larger moisture gradient, as well as, allow for the isopods to have a stronger colony. Eventually, we will have to separate the two species, but for now they will cohabitate.
