Hello Jen, I too like to have cold face wash when I wake. I like my quiet alone with myself moments in the early morning when I just contemplate life with a large coffee & the birdsong outside... till I hear alarms going off, my adult children live with me & work. When they have gone I take my time to do chores, there is no rush. Before I would rush to do everything, I am taking a leaf out of your book by just taking time, slowing down & I am so appreciative of your videos. Thank you Jen, Best wishes to you & hubby x

You upload just as my work day ends in busy London. Your videos calm me down so much, make me forget about the stresses of work and also make me appreciate with a conscious mind the quiet comfort that home and loved ones bring. For the plants 🪴
First, figure out what the issue is, do they need more/less water, light, or temperature? I’m going to wing it and say light and if that’s the case, try a grow light that suits your decor.
You're right, it's the light. I will try to do my best to keep them alive. :)

Hi Jen...once again thank you for sharing your daily routines... drinking coffee, warm drinks and doing sports like yoga, or walking through the beautiful nature help us to take care of ourselves physically and mentally and cope with this cold winter...and my highest pleasure is reading a book in the sofa , covered by a blanket while I drink a coffee..before starting to work.....I wish you nice moments....

Toll, genau so lecker haben wir es in der Schweiz auch gern. Die Wohnungseinrichtung ist wirklich große Spitze, so gemütlich mit schlichten, sanften Farben, da kann man immer je nach Laune mit farbigen Zubehör eine völlig andere Stimmung erzeugen, sollte es langweilig werden. Besonders schön finde ich zur Winterjahreszeit das Eisglaszubehör. Ich guck mir etwas ab.

I cold wash my face too, but I'm going to have to make myself get up early and having my alone time before I have to feed my cats and dogs then myself. It looks so peaceful there in the morning.

Jen your videos make me feel so calm. Thank you so much. I wake up later than my husband. My husband starts working from home around 8am. As soon as I’m awake he starts preparing my Bialetti espresso and we enjoy a nice chit chat together with our espressos. I prefer a different strength and type of espresso than him so we have separate Bialetti espresso makers. We enjoy our quiet moments together. Thanks again for such a calming enjoyable video. You have a beautiful routine together.❤
Hi Jen, your videos are so addictive! 🥰 so beautifully calming and wonderfully done. I love to have a morning routine. Just taking some time to meditate, write a gratitude list and some intentions. I usually try to stick to lemon hot water too before I reach for a coffee but sometimes it’s the other way around! 🙈😂🥰
Your place is lovely. I love dark mornings and early evenings. It just makes me feel more calm, peaceful and cosy.
I have automatic strip lights in frequently used areas of my apartment such as the hallway and bathroom. They cozily light up the corners as you walk by or with movement and then they switch themselves off.
They are great especially if you need to get up in the night for the bathroom and don’t wish to switch on a big light. They have three dimmer settings on them which is great and candle light like.
They work with a sensor you just charge up. They are great I find and there’s something soothing about seeing them switch themselves out once you’re back in bed. 🥰 I’m sure you would love them ! Happy weekend! 🤗💜🤗
Beautiful video! You could buy a grow light for your plants if you don’t have one! Even giving them time in your bathroom with your shower might help too ☺️
Loved your calm morning routine, I too would like to have one when I move out of my parent's place. I' am slowly working towards that dream, so I too can have my own peace and quiet in the morning time...😅

My plants are also feeling a little "under the weather". I think it's the winter and the lack of light that makes them quite miserable. I use an artificial daylight to cheer them up. Maybe that will help with your monstera and the other green friends. 🙂🍀

I love your videos. A suggestion for your plants, they may want more light. There are individual plant lights, look on line....you put the post in the soil and then they individual light a plant or small grouping.

I think you could buy a plant bulb & use a light fixture just for the plants so in the dark winter months they get the nutrients they need. This also applies to humans who suffer depression in the winter, using sun lamps & vitamin D3 is very helpful!
