The costume and set designs in this one are crazy!! Shout out to the behind the scenes crew of SNL who work so hard to make the cast look good and the show run smoothly.

only for most of the cast to wear them for 1 minute each with most of the screentime paid to the mirror. Commitment to making the scene believable

Can we appreciate how Pete Davidson is doing a semi British accent at the start and then the minute things get weird he goes back to his regular voice such a good little detail 😂

The dress she's wearing is, like, 10 times better than the one they went with in the live action remake

In awe of the legend that is Willem DaFoe. The guy is so versatile, and just iconic. His movies are tremendous too, AntiChrist is one of the most disturbing films I've ever seen.

I noticed that, too.. it's really distracting how tied to the cue cards the staff is... many hosts also.

To think the wardrobe department created all these intricate, detailed costumes from the movie….all for a 4 minute skit.
1. Yes, the SNL crew always kill it, with the Disney skits. The real Disney that does "live action reboots" should take notes. 2. I knew this is where the skit was gonna go: Belle seeing Maurice do something weird, through the mirror.
I'm pretty sure the real Disney is done with live-action reboots after the disaster that was Mulan 2020. If not, then may God have mercy on us all.

Hey. Pete said he wanted to be in more sketches and not just be on Weekend Update doing commentary or play the brain-dead millennial slacker (which Andrew Dismukes is doing, since Pete's no longer the youngest male current cast member).
How fun to see Willem Dafoe letting loose in fun with a character. He once played the closest character to my dad in very fictional account of a very true story so there’s a special place in my heart for him.
