The events of 1970 were because the U.S. was in an immoral war, we had a draft and students did not want to go to war for what they rightly viewed as wrongful. While students today may believe the Israeli military actions in Gaza are excessive, and we all deplore the loss of innocent life, there is really no comparison between these issues otherwise, in my opinion.

I find the short attention span of modern audiences offensive. At the risk of sounding old, back when this music was new, we used to listen. This song marks a grim anniversary.
