A quick look at the Celebrity Reflection with details of a Veranda Stateroom. Filmed whilst cruising the Eastern Caribbean and Bahamas in January 2023.
I just got off today and I thought the ships food was TERRIBLE! All deserts were dried out. Turkey burger dry, onions so strong, Turkey club dry and dinner in main dining was terrible. My trout was so strong I could not eat it. Portabella mushroom was 3" and horrible sauce. I could go on and on. I lived a week on apple pie and ice cream! The ship was underwhelming. No internet cafe, no calypso music. Not much to it.
Great and insightful video! We were on the Reflection for Christmas and New Year's this past year. Great ship, even greater staff. I have to say I loved your accent, but "dressing gown and lift" would have given you away anyway! Again, great vlog, take care and as always, "mind the gap!"
I felt the ship….the Echo was not great. We didn’t like the infinity veranda. Almost every meal….in every dining room was COLD. Did not find the ship to be all that pretty. Service has gone downhill.
@@lauriescott2308 Well you sound like you didn't enjoy yourself very much. Shame you didn't like the infinity veranda but considering they don't have any on this ship I can only presume you have got confused.
@The Malted Muse well, all deserts were dried out to the point the crumbled like sand. The trout was so strong I could not eat it. I could go on and on....
We’ve cruised six times on five different Celebrity ships, the Constellation twice, the Solstice, the Equinox, the Summit and the Eclipse. We’ve also been on Princess and Royal Caribbean ships. In my experience the Celebrity cruises were the ones where the food was always superior. The others are certainly very good to excellent but Celebrity is much better.
@@victoriasvisions : The Reflection, which appears to be the ship that you cruised on, is the most recently constructed of all five Solstice class ships in the Celebrity fleet. She was also refurbished in October 2022. She is certainly not an “older ship”. The older ships are the Millennium class ships which include the Constellation and the Summit. All of these ships are top class. And I do mean TOP class. Perhaps your experience has been coloured by some other factor…

Looks OK but I never used it myself.

No….I am not confused. We did the Echo. That is a different class of ship. We enjoyed the Silhouette and Reflection.

Just got off the ship today. Food was terrible and the ship is underwhelming. Will not cruise Celebrity again. Staff was great.
I do not know what to say. I have done 10 cruises with Celebrity and never found the food terrible but I guess each to their own taste.
