Ernest Tubb & the Texas Troubadours - The Lord Knows I'm Drinking From the Boxed Set: Another Story www.etrecordshop.com/ www.allmusic.com/artist/ernest...
I am one of those who wishes I could have been around when this sound was in its prime and that I could have danced a few rounds to Ernest and the like. There is just nothing like it anymore.
Cal had the hit, but Ernest is hard to beat...saw his @ Cactus Jack's in Memphis late 70's/early 80's. was one of my grandmother's favorites in the 40s and I'm going to see him in concert 40 years later. WOW!!!
I Wonder in what mood you guys are to listening to this masterpiece... 😉 Greetings from Germany, Prost!!!
Country will never be as cool as this stuff.

I grew up with this kind of music. I'm one of the lucky ones.
If there hadn’t been an Ernest Tubb, there wouldn’t have been a Hank Williams.
Mr. Tubb is a legend.
The Lord knows I am drinking
