Islington, London - Highbury to Angel, Footage Shot with DJI Mini 2 Drone and Samsung S20 Ultra (4K)

Today, Islington is a popular residential area with a vibrant hospitality sector, but this video looks at the area's roots - originally as a small Middlesex village. We travel from Highbury Fields in the North, along Upper Street, to St Mary's Church, Camden Passage, Islington Green, Angel and the Regent's Canal.
This is a mixture of documentary aerial and ground footage, with drone video giving a new perspective on some of Islington's well known sights.

I spent a lot of time at St Mary’s St Upper St as I went to St Mary’s School. I remember Easter Time when we did a harvest there for Easter. Lots of Happy Memories.

Interesting and unusual drone shots of an otherwise familiar area, but would have appreciated you turning down the saturation level, as when filming on the ground, the flesh tones make people look like they're about to burst a blood vessel..........

I once heard that The Angel Islington made it onto the London version of the Monopoly board despite not being a street because the researcher from Parker Brothers spent a lot of their 'down-time' in the Angel pub.
