I just had a discussion with a friend who is a Christian fanatic while I am a Christian that follows the words of Jesus. Anyway, I told her Hamas is not in Gaza it is attacking from other areas, and I went on to say all innocents should be left be punished from either side. She then said we'll It's war, so I asked against who, she said Hamas, why are you asking that and I answered, well I just told you they are not there. You see fanatism is flawed, it is not the teaching of Jesus. So I believe you are a child of Christ, just like her, but do not let these deceivers lead you astray. Return to the word of Christ, which is flawless, while these men only guess and use that to their own interests.

This a bad translation. The translation is not prince of Rosh. Rosh is not a nation, it is part of the title of Gog, he is the sar rosh. Sar means primce and rosh means chief or head in Hebrew making Gog the chief prince of Magog. Making the Hebrew word rosh into a name of a nation is an amateurish mistake.
Furthermore, in Ezekiel's day, Russia did not exist and would not exist for over 1500 years. For him to point to Russia would make no sense to his audience.
All of the lands mentioned in Ezekiel's prophecy can be found on a map of the Mideast marking the political boundaries in Ezekiel's day. They are all Middle Eastern nations under the control of Islam today.

The attack in Ezekiel 38 is against "God's Israel" which has not been a single nation since the 1st century CE. So that war involves all nations. It is the same situation as in Revelation 16:13-16, the one called Armageddon.
Armageddon is the end of this world. It is the same end that Jesus referred to in Matthew 24:14 where he said that "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."
The references to horses and weapons in Ezekiel 38 is symbolic. It is just God's way of saying that the forces of "Gog of Magog" will be "fully equipped" militaristically.
There is no reference to Israel that includes any other people than Israel.
Ezekiel 37 prophesies that Israel will be called home from all over the world. This happened in 1948. Replacement theology is a mistake and can only happen if you torture the text. Let the Bible translate the Bible.

Again look up the word Rosh in Hebrew and you would see it does not mean a nation north of Israel called Russia. When we see shield and sword or horses in other end times prophecies, how are we to take this? The Bible was written FIRST to the UNDERSTANDING of the people in their own day with words or meanings that they would know, then to those of us who live in a different time. The Word of God is always valid and true but our context, interpretation or understanding as people is still limited (until we get to Heaven)
Sword weapon of war at the time of prophesy, and so were horses. Their use is relevant to what is in use use today. Imagine prophesy at the time talking about ballistic missile, what could that mean to the audience? Look for 'derash' in scripture

I'm sure the writers knew what horses were. I am a Bible believing Christian and not a agnostic but I haven't heard a great argument why. When there's questions that I have that don't seem to have any perfect explanation, it doesn't cause me to doubt God's word. We might not get all the answers until we are with him in the kingdom.

The Hebrew word Rosh is not a location or place. The word means "Chief". The scripture should read "Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal". That is the proper Hebrew rendering.

For anyone interested in understanding the timing of the Gog/Magog War, that people like those who post videos like this, don't be deceived by these "click merchants". The Gog/Magog war/battle is only mentioned in two chapters in the Bible. First, the battle is mentioned in Ezekiel 38 and the WHEN it happens in mentioned in Revelation 20. Revelation clearly depicts this war as happening AFTER the 1,000 year reign of peace. Whatever is happening right now folks IS NOT this event. I would encourage you to read it for yourself. Preferably in the King James.

People should read the Bible in whatever version they are most comfortable with. King James (1600's English) was the Modern English translation of it's day. And this is especially important for people who are NOT yet Christians, since the Bible is Meant to be EASILY Readable (or even foreign non-English speakers who PREFER their own language Bible in a Modern translation) -- The priority is to get other people saved first in an Easier to Read translation

Old Testament prophecy is for the Old Testament people...there is foreshadowing in some instances, but you cannot directly apply them to the New Testament period specifically.
