There are probably more children at risk and suffering from the same negligence that led to his death. The more calls you receive, the more avenues you have to at least create a starting point. Bring in some old school detectives who don't mind doing the real investigative work. This department is worried about too many leads? When my son was young my mom checked up at least once a day by phone or stopping by to see how we were doing. If this child had grandparents who were close he would have had medical treatment before he had a chance to die from dehydration, which is a slow process and is not something that just happens without warning. People close to this child would've known he had been vomiting and/or having diarrhea for several days and had not been feeling well and they would've made sure he was taken to the doctor or ER.

They are covering up foul play. Which leads me to believe it q lot more sinister. They mention the cause of death which is consistent with kidnapped or sequestered victims. In some cases sequestered victims often live with the perpetrators but are mistreated or kept in horrible living conditions often tied or chained. In these cases the children are not often seen in public may be alleged to be homeschooling etc... The possibilities of being recognized by someone, anyone are likely, the possibilities of their perpetrators coming forward such instances are not. The reasons he is put forward for not releasing the child's picture is bullshit. There is going to be a time when this child's image will be released and all the forensic evidence on or in this child's body will be destroyed due to personal opinion and feelings. You need to be turning over rocks in this field. If your investigations have brought no leads you turn over the next rock, which would be the image of the victim. His reason not to do that is to avoid misleading information. Well what if the child is from 5 States away hence, the reason no one in this county or State has come forward after local news coverage of this incident? I'm in Florida and am viewing this for the first time on CZcams for crying out load!!! Let's say a family of 4 had seen this child in a truck with someone who did not appear to be a relative while on their family road trip? Or some teenagers seen him walked out of a mall in a different state? This departments unwillingness to turn this investigation to a national level is concerning. I am sure that if this child's image was shared in with Chicago's police force it would be on going same in Detroit, New York etc... You can see were I'm going with this. Here's another scenario, what if the child was with the parents on vacation in the Canyons when kidnapped and his parents are lying dead in a ditch and could not come forward to claim their child? There would be no reason someone who could recognize this child to come forward if the last time they saw him was when he and his family were going on vacation. No reason for a teacher to inquire if they had been informed the family was going on vacation. This man simply can't understand why no one has come forward when there are a million different reasons why this is possible. They may very well be the most incompetent police force or avoiding the fallout of something a lot more sinister. In comparison to many other instances like this one, other investigations like this one, this decision to not identify this child and bury his body without a full forensic is disturbing to me.

Indiana has a citizen in jail for child pornography w ties to Las Vegas that had an online connection to the two Delphi girls that were murdered in 2017=The initial statement was the boy was in good condition & appeared to b well taken care of = but the autopsy report kind of disputes that= Oh yes I believe there’s b an outrage if it were found the boy was placed in State care & then died in State care & the means the perpetrator took to make the death appear to b possibly tied to a criminal sitting in jail= if it were ever found this is to b the case=Wow! Keep the boy in the spotlight until the truth comes out= he deserves that much & w the technology we have, he should be able to b id=News team needs to interview the man who found him & ask if he was recognizable and if he was then, ISP has explaining to do bc there is not legal nor logical reason fir not producing a photo or sketch for identification especially since they now released the cause of death (which doesn’t happen in ongoing murder investigations so I don’t believe they intend this investigation to go further = it’s the opposite proof of no body-no murder = what we have is a body but no id = can’t charge anyone wOut first id-ing the victim!

I'm guessing he had other evidence of abuse like bruises, cuts, burns, broken bones etc. and they knew this would be seen if they sought medical attention for the illness. Plus, at 5, he would've been able to talk and answer questions about abuse or other things going on around him. The police only released cause of death and said nothing significant was found on toxicology tests but didn't go into details about evidence of abuse, if any, found on his body that wasn't directly related to cause of death. Pretty sure there were other things going on here. Loving, non-abusive, parents don't let their child stay sick for days or weeks w/o seeking medical care.

What's crazy is that someone would let a child go so long without medical attention that the child suffers and dies from dehydration. By the time he was "a body" they had committed a crime b/c they neglected him and allowed him to die which is punishable by prison time so they hid the evidence. The real question here is how can someone watch a child suffer day after day with an illness and not seek medical attention and just watch them slowly die. Dehydration doesn't happen overnight.

That's crazy! Law enforcement is not going to release a picture, a composite, a drawing - any image whatsoever - so that the public can help identify???
"It would open up a pandora's box." Seriously?? Calls would come in from the public, and so law enforcement would actually have to work on those leads!!!
UNBELIEVABLE. Here to serve the public, paid by taxpayers. I wonder if law enforcement would act (or not act) the same if the boy was a white child? A white child with blond hair, maybe blue eyes - you bet they would handle it differently.
It seems they are just going to sweep this boy under the rug. Horrific.

That man who found that child suffering is so sad. He obviously has a heart, cares, and has an attitude that's commendable. The person, or persons who turned a novelty suitcase into a cheap coffin for an unfortunate baby, have a lot to answer for, though nothing they say can make what they've done to that innocent baby reasonable, or acceptable. Theirfore the punishment handed down for their callous, heartless, cowardly actions must be just as slow as it is extraordinarily painful. Smh, what a world we live on. 🥺
