Let's Explore Nizwa Fort (Nizwa, Oman) 4K, 60FPS Walking Tour

Probably the most famous landmark in Nizwa, the fort has been around since the 1600s. It's a testament to the culture, history, and architecture of the region. Most travelers who visit the area have this place on their list of sites to visit. Nizwa fort is adjacent to Nizwa Souq, so you can explore both places in one go. There are a lot of steps and trust me, you'll be pushing yourself as you go from one height to another.
Well worth it though, because you get to experience everything first hand. At the time of my visit, the entrance fee was 5 Omani rials per adult. Set aside about an hour to go through. There is a cafe on site and there are cultural events and performances from time to time. You'll also find women within the premises who do traditional weaving and who make "helwa", a traditional Omani sweet.
