@zLamakz , in a normal basketball sense it would be travelling. however, the nba allows u to use that first step as a load step and then you are allowed two extra steps after you pick up your dribble

Exactly, if he started then their shot percentage would have increased because he is a better shooter, he is very creative with the ball, and i think as good as westbrook is that Harden is slightly better but thats just because of the out of controll drives he takes and he is not as passive enough to Durant.

just like russell westbrook who I also see als a combo guard/scoring point guard, I saw a great situation for the thunder, i've been saying this since 2011, START harden, then you have harden and westbrook, they can both create and create for others, but then they made a trade and over paying a spot up shooter in martin..

yeah, it seemed that gasol could hit the jumpers if perkins was marking him, but yeah they should have played a defensive game like the spurs have been doing against them.

he plays like tyreke Evans only thing that parts them is hardens ability to create his own shot at will n the pick n roll
you can make a case for westbrook since he's more athletic and a better defender. but with harden still being there and westbrook injured, I think they could have knocked off memphis
are you kidding? dude, kevin martin's literally the best shooter in the league when it comes to getting to the line. he had a low usage pct and still got to the line 8.2 times a game 2 years ago.
9.5 and 10.4 fts a game in 08 and 09 respectively on less minutes and a lower usage pct

He does. A lot. He can drive right just as well as he does left. And he chooses to do so on many occasions. But he always chooses to finish with his left hand. Which his eurostep allows him to do. That's why he can score 26ppg with a non-existent right hand.
But he could be easily, he has great passing, shooting and can see open players very easily.
He often travels with his euro step tho

people understood harden's potential their is no doubt about it but im pretty sure the reason they had harden on the bench was to have a leader who was capable of leading the okc bench because lets face it; if harden wasn't 6th man that bench is garbage.

Man wasn't that just 3 steps by Harden @ 7:01? I love Harden's step back and euro step but maybe that was a lil too much on that play.
so really westbrook is a better defender but Harden is the better Offensive gaurd, if this is the case then why wasn't Harden started for OKC ? im not too sure thou, it was really Gasol and Randolph that went to town on perkins and Ibaka.
I love Harden, but when he crosses over from right to left and finishes at the rim with his left, it is almost always an uncalled travel.
Well I mean you could say that about many young players. Steph, Kyrie, Lillard.. it's just not what they do. No one looked at Ben Wallace back in the day and be like "OMG his offense is so TERRIBLE whats with this guy!" Not everyone can be a great all around player, if that was the case, the list for GOAT prospects would be endless, many players have better skills on one end and not the other, and that's just the reality, no need for nitpicking.

except it's not that simple. james is average defensively and that's why they couldn't start him. and then james wanted 12 mil a year to be a bench player. and there's also the fact that OKC actually got better with that trade because Kevin Martin's better at getting to the line and stretches the floor more than James.

And the only reason they traded Harden is because Harden was all about the money and the fame and refused every off the Thunder gave him. Better to trade him then lose him for nothing. It's funny that you say that if he started the Thunder would have Westbrook and Harden... Dumbass Harden played 31 minutes out of 48 minutes while Westbrook played around 35. They were both on the floor the vast majority of the time so they WERE playing together.
