  • Zimbabwe's President Emerson Mnangagwa is facing a fresh bid to unseat him from office, this time from an unlikely source. ZANU PF youth member, Sybeth Musengezi has approached the Bulawayo High Court seeking the nullification of Zanu-PF's 19 November 2017 special session of the Central Committee meeting, which elected, Emmerson Mnangagwa as the incumbent president. The court application filed Wednesday, by Musengezi cites Zanu-PF as the first respondent and Mnangagwa as the second respondent alongside 4 other senior party officials. To tell us this behind this application we spoke to Musengezi.

Yho!!! This is huge! This is the greatest news to come out of Zim in a long while. There were quite a few irregularities on that day, not to mention that it was during military occupation. I did not think that anyone in Zanu Pf could have the courage to challenge this. But this young man should have some serious backing to do this, like real serious backing. This should be the acid test for our judiciary. Keep us updated Peter

I've been trying to explain this to Zimbabwean people. The Chinese sponsored the army coup on ZANU PF then used that civilian political party to complete their coup on the MDC Alliance electoral victory. Mnangagwa did not win any election 🙄. In fact,.he lost then used the courts to declare him the winner of an election he lost. Madness

No one was ever behind Mnangagwa but his allies who helped him with the coup. How can an educated country choose or vote rightfully for a nominee with no educational background? I respect our elders but it’s just not wise to cling to power or steal positions for self gains. Zimbabwe came from a very dark past for them to humiliate our people & degrade us mentally with all this chaos in the name of politics. Proper direction in Zimbabwe can help not only ease Zim but Africa in general . So corruption and lack of ethical standards can’t be the way forward I feel in Zimbabwe , South Africa & Africa in general

Zimbabweans want a president whose going to westernize Zimbabwe, give them flashy lifestyles they see in south african cities. They don't want to work their land which they possess and improve their lifestyles through trade. Theres a reason Mugabe lost his support and inevitably failed, he didn't have support from his people because they feel deprived when they are previledged. Zimbabwe is one of the most fertile land but it's people are so fixated in disfunctionality of their money system that they forget that money is not the product but a representation of it no different to a menu in a restaurant.... So they should work the land, while they give the government a chance to restructure the money system... No matter how long it takes... But that eagerness to have a taste of western lifestyle won't allow them to do them. They are eager to sell their country in exchange for lifestyle just like how south africa did, and they don't care which politician does it as long as they do it

Vanhu ve Zimbabwe zanu yatangazve matricks ayo to stay in power. Whatever zanu pf does don't join. Whether they fight it doesn't help you citizens. Those who are wise have to choose a better party with promising vision.
Remember you were tricked that Mugabe was the bad person. Zanu is the problem. So as long as its zanu nothing is to change. Whether zanu has a youth leader or what?
