Had to come back and watch this. Just heard Scully passed away today. He will be missed but never forgotten. Not just the best announcer, but a real class act.

LA was sure blessed with the ultimate legendary announcers of all time, Vin Scully and Chick Hearn! No one as good as those legendary voices. How time flies man I swear this was amazing.
Vin is the last member of the greatest group of announcers ever. The old school guys who started in the 50's and were the signature voices of their franchises for close to 50 years in addition to Vin Scully you had guys like Jack Buck, Harry Caray(most people don't realize he didn't start with Cubs until around 1980).
I'm fully aware of that. I'm just saying that Caray is in the same category as Buck, Scully, Harry Kalas and others who spent their whole careers with the same team.
And also Harry in addition to broadcasting for the Cardinals and Athletics also did it for the White Sox.

Greatest of all time. As a long time Met fan I am so thankful he did play by play for the 1986 World Series. I've watched game 6 and 7 so many times I can finish Vin's lines. My dad was a Brooklyn Dodger fan who grew up listening to Vin Scully. A class act, a legend. Also a smart baseball man for calling out the fact that managers are too beholden to pitching changes. Dodgers should have listened to him for game 2.
