Ottawalk with me in our Nation's Capital as we explore popular and not-so-popular areas of the city. I appreciate you taking the time to join me, feel free to Like & Subscribe!
Hi everyone, I'm an Ottawa based CZcams channel providing walking & biking videos of this city and MORE! I film and edit all of the content on this channel, with the focus of documenting cities for artistic and historical purposes.
Ottawa is the Capital of Canada. It is located northeast of North America, in the Province of Ontario. It is the second-largest city in Ontario, and fourth-largest in the country. This beautiful city has been undergoing a major facelift in recent years with many projects proposed for the future. You will notice a significant amount of construction and I will be capturing the progress during our many walks & rides.

Bless the men and women who worked around the clock for our lives to return to normal. This storm scared me to no end when the windows started to shake. Thanks for doing this video.

I am very sorry to see the destruction, but thanks for showing so we can be thinking of those who were affected. 🙏🙏🙏😥😥

I was in the mountains of Virginia for the 2012 derecho. This... I wasn't in an urban area of any sort, but this still takes me back all too acutely. The derecho hit June 29th, we didn't regain power until the 4th.

Yooooo Good stuff man you need to go down woodroffe and turn left onto slack road you will see a forest that has had about 1000 trees completely wiped out!! I have fixed over 100 homes so far @ Intricate Roofing & Contracting it is absolutely a mess out there I'm still fixing houses on Amberwood Crescent.

5 days without power , I had to compost food that was recently purchased & frozen . But our big weeping willow is still standing & no cars were damaged in our parking lot . I knew people might die when I saw walls of gusts of wind & rain with chilling sounds .Thanks Ottawalks for making me aware of how lucky we were where I live ! I feel sorry for those whose properties were not & for the families of deceased victims .

Your videos are great as always, and I mean even going way beck before this past Feb!
Lately you've been in our area, Riverside Park, but seemed to miss the Hyde Rd damage afaik.
Also many rural areas of Ottawa hit bad. I can send you pictures of our son's place where the house is destroyed by large tree in Constance, near city limit.

This music is so fitting. Although melancholy, rather beautiful. What it is?

8 people were killed I believe. Mostly from falling trees. One woman drowned.

Gotta love the irony Ottawa asking help from the truckers and they denying loads to Ottawa get used to no power Ottawa you and your overlord will own nothing and be happy.

Planet earth is a sitting duck in the cosmos .Dinosaurs apparently were victims of an asteroid or a comet . Ottawa is a vast area & is a sitting duck for some kinds of disasters , earthquakes & the aftermath of hurricanes being the least menacing . People die of heart attack trying to shovel snow during monster snowfalls .
