I’m rather curious why it’s an officer changing the guard and not an NCO.
I've noticed at times it is an NCO or an officer. Good question though.

An officer wouldn't "Guard" the Tomb, but they're more in charge of overseeing the entire platoon. Which on the website they're known as "Commander of The Guard"
