The video explains very well. The voltage test pen is still necessary. I bought a renhotecic brand test pen not long ago. The test is very convenient, accurate and safe. Family must.
Otherwise i can test supply in darkness area means no lights there so how i am read the voltage shown in his display.? I think in this device company should gives light display . Am i right or no sir?
You are right. They could have given a backlit display if it was battery operated. But this work on inductance. The current is not enough to power an led.
Does the power symbol appears for neutral wire as well ? In my case, it was showing power symbol on touching at open end but still there was no current in the wire.

You're not even allowed to pass DC through them for more than a split second or you risk damaging the voice coil. On a piezoelectric driver you can't even do a simple battery test at all or you kill it. And how are coils on passive crossover networks in speakers supposed to even work if what you're saying is correct? Please do tell us.

You missed one point, sir. If you accidentally press the inductance button while checking mains, it will break.

Yes, power symbol will appear even if there is 40-50v in the wire. This could be due to leakage from other outlets into the N / G wires.

How to check amp's
You cannot check amps with this tester. Only voltage and inductance.
For amps you need multimeter.
How to check DC and it's DC voltage reading?
Haven't tried it on DC yet but it should work on 12V battery.
Indian Mechanic I checked for DC reading on car battery, but doesn't give any results even the flash icon...!!!??

I've only tried it on live wire. But you can try it on headphones on full volume.
