*Congats to her but she had the benefit of the 3-point line which didn't exist when Pistol Pete Maravich played! If it had, he would have set a scoring reocrd that NO ONE would have ever challenged!*

Well, men too have the benefits of 3 point. Where are they?
If Caitlin took as many shots as he did, she would have beat his record last year and set a record that will never be touched.
Clark only took a little over 20 shots a game vs Pete's 40 plus per game. If Clark shot that many times and had fewer assists this would have added lots more points. But she did it by being a team player getting others involved. And because of covid and lost games every school had Clark would have busted this record way earlier in the season. Number if games missed was in the teens so Clark would be well over 4k points . Honestly , we should just be focusing on the women' scoring leaders from the past and not Pete.
