Multiple faces D20 and D12 for DnD. Admittedly, they usually bounce, considering the bowl composition and the edges on each die.

It's done with magnets, it can be done by using the magnets as small pieces of magnets in the dice and more in or under the bowl.when they are used they rush apart. Simple, I think. Lol

There are 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 20 sided dice. The 4-sided ones hurt like heck when you step on them bare-footed!!

Im sure some one else has commented but the multi sided dice like these are used in alot of table top RPG games. Common dice Are d* where the star is how many sides it has. D4,D6,D8,D10, D12 and D20. 2 D10s together make a D100 where the one dice is designated as 10's place(sometimes listed on the dice as 10 already) and then the other is the 1.s place. Some games also us a D2, D3, D30, and a actual d100(looks like a golf ball_

Or they could lower the number of "0" possible dice and then make the 0 prize something really expensive! We might have to do that!

Dice have different shapes and sizes the 20 side dice is used in games like D&D where you roll for everything.
Also I think after you guys get one in you should have tried to get a die by itself to drop in and make 2.
Lots more games other than D&D that use polyhedral dice, y'all. And each one is referred to by the number of sides it has: d4- pyramid shaped, d6 (the cube one most people are used to seeing in board games, casinos, etc), d8- diamond shaped, d10/percentile die- the pointy UFO-looking ones in this machine, and the rounder d12s and d20s seen in this machine. Some games use all of these shapes (such as D&D and Pathfinder) and some only use one of them (like the White Wolf/Onyx Path games such as Werewolf and Exalted, which only use d10s.) There are lots of other funky dice made for specific games or just for sheer novelty, too, such as d2s and d100s, because we dice goblins weren't nerdy enough about our clicky-clacky math rocks, apparently 🤣🤣 Oh, and the 0s you see on those dice actually represent 10s.

quick lesson in dice d4 -this looks like a triangle. d6 This your normal dice that is used in most family type board games like monoploy. d8 these resemble diamonds. d10 are almost the same shape as a d8 but they have an extra side i guess they look kinda like a disc. Then you have d12 and d20's those were the many side dice. Though most looked to be d10 and d12 d20s. But 12 and 20 are kinda ball shaped so those are the ones that going to do lots of bouncing'

It looks to me like the surfaces under the dice and bowl are magnetized as well as the dice. The bowl doesn't matter because they are drawn OUT of the bowl to the magnetized surfaces. That's also why you tend to get multiples in the bowl because they are attracted to each other.
That looks so much fun!! I love claw machines however I’m not allowed to play much of them because I was wasting a lot of money 😅
