My nephew had a dashcam, and when he was involved in an accident where he was accused at being at fault, he was able to prove he wasn't. I think they're a great idea :)

I really like how this one can log the exact location, and the speed that you're travelling at. It's so useful in the event of a collision!

oh, i've been meaning to buy a dashcam. i didn't know you could get a discount on insurance with it, i'll have to ask my insurer! they should make it solar powered instead of battery!
The battery recharges off your car, so it's not too bad, but solar power would be an idea!
You know I've never actually seen a dash cam. It looks pretty simple to use. I've often seen things while driving and thought I wish I had a dash cam to capture that.

Yes. Night time is a bit harder to pick up
