  • In a side by side comparison, we are going to look at a 2 1/2" Deployment using both the Minuteman Load and the Flat Load with the Flip Method. We also quickly go over How to Load a Minuteman. Check it out! What's your thoughts? We find the 2 1/2" loaded both ways (why we go over the rig at the start of shift), but I've never really dissected them. Thanks Luke, Joe and our main star, Jesse! Congrats on completing Probation...

I see your point. But realistically that not how you pull a flat load. 50' on your shoulder reach back pull a bight roughly at the next 50' mark and go! The load will pay out by itself. That's why it's loaded that way.
    Best regards.

“Realistically” I wouldn’t commit to any one way. Especially at the back of the rig. You leave hose in the bed and take one sharp turn and that hose stays in the bed. Clear your hose bed. Keep your hose with you to navigate past any obstacles.

Everybody’s a little different, I suppose. But I try to encourage excitement about the job and an environment where one feels comfortable to ask questions. I subscribe to a positive environment.
