Independent is the way forward for any artist
Depends what you mean by being signed. Dont need big label signings these days. Not with sptify youtube and soundcloud and deezer and tidal etc. Bones doesnt need it. The only time i think its worth signing to a label these days is to artist made independant labels. That way you get the xpertise of the other people signed/running it and make songs with them etc while stil keeping most your profits.
This is one of the best if not THE best realist raps I've heard. Also 33, but had to get out of the game, changing drugs, violence, mental health and prison for a new life, hard work but cut so called friends off, engaged with probation, eventually moved boroughs. Yeah I have less money than i did back then but I'm nowhere near as broke, my mind is free and my vision is clear. I hope someone reading this realises it's never too late to get out.
