In the space of 5 years from 2nd year university on (1965), I owned the AR Turntable, the AR Receiver (50 Wch) and the AR3a loudspeakers. Bought a pr. of AR2ax speakers when they came out! Great equipment!
My first set of speakers in the 70's were AR. Unfortunately they were destroyed in a fire, but if that hadn't happened I'm sure they would still be in service.
