An exceptional & eloquent discussion - what a refreshing contrast to the bombastic Blinken. If only Palestinians could be afforded a fraction of the security, respect & support of the XJ ethnic minorities instead of being endlessly humiliated & dispossessed by their oppressors; how wistful the Palestinian ambassador must feel during his visit for his own people. I do hope that the PRC can provide more meaningful support to these wretched people - it certainly won't come from the West. That an ETIM separatist had the temerity to claim that the Uyghurs were suffering more than the Palestinians just shows the ignorance & unhinged mentality of these extremists.
Similarly, it must be heartbreaking for the Syrian ambassador to see the destruction of his country & the vilifying of his president & his wife when compared with the nation building going on in XJ.
These ambassadors are a credit to their countries.

As said, when you are visiting a province and moving about the town and country, you can just feel the pulse and vibrancy of people and the place. You just cannot fake the whole picture of the whole province. However, as all the three ambassadors agree, for the west it is all about geopolitics and their agenda, western supremacy and self righteousness. As agreed and well said, China shall stay the course to improve the lives and livelihood of the people; it is about doing the right thing, and not about the west. Of course as situations arise, tell and show the true picture of what is happening on the ground so that more and more people will understand, gradually and surely, truth will shine through.

Good job CGTN, the advices from the 3 honorable ambassadors are wise: don’t be on the defensive, stay the course, at the end of the day - it’s not the bias, slander, disinformation and constant bashing of western politicians who are qualified to speak about the livelihood and conditions of living in Xinjiang, its the people of Xinjiang themselves. Let’s face it, like one Ambassador said, the west are jealous and hate about the success China has achieved over the past 40 years. If the West and their politicians spent the necessary efforts, time and really have the competency (I dare say) to improve their livelihood of their own people, they don’t need to pick on matters outside their own countries. Of course, the same Western politicians have been touting for decades that only their form of political system can bring about development, but China is from a different political system and yet is able to bring about change so rapidly and now challenging the West. The West will never stop hating China for their achievements, the West will want to keep suppressing developing nations from rising up economically. China’s rise, China’s BRI are on the path to help these developing countries get their roads, ports, railways whilst history shows that what the west wants are natural resources, people as slaves to help the West to retain their glory past. The West is nervous now, but don’t let these imperialists derail China and the rest of the developing world the right to have a better live in the sun.

Those ambassadors hit the nail on head. We should not e defensive, or reactive, but we should be proactive, and confident, and just keep doing what we have been doing. It's USA and the west which is desperate, and as we can see, China has many friends all over the world, like our friends from the Arab and Muslim world has shown in this video.
Not even one Muslim country signed the UN resolution against China on Xinjiang, instead all of them including USAs closest allies like Saudi Arabia and Qatar and UAE, Egypt, etc all supported China. I'm fsct the OIC which represents Muslims worldwide and dozens of Muslim countries, supported China after they too went to visit. After they finished investigating they praise China just as these 3 ambassadors did.
Let USA and uk and Canada call it a genocide. They are just throwing away what little credibility they had, and even their own people don't believe it. Or at least half of them, which shows how divided they are also. They csnf even stop buying Chinese goods. Not even a whiff of a threat of a boycott. Unless of course USA wants to cripple or destroy companies like Apple, GM, Ford, Boeing, and every other large multinational company etc etc. China is those companies largest single market and where they make most of their sales and profits.

This is a very interesting round table with 3 ambassadors from islamic countries. May be it will make more English speaking people interested to get a more realistic view of the development in Xianjang. The development of China is impressive and it is good that the outer districts are not left behind.

To the question what to do, I agree with what the Syrian ambassador said 100%. China should continue focus on improving living standard of her people. Spend her energy on the positives but not worth waste too much time to justify to those who spread lies, fake news and told ridiculous untrue stories of force labor and genocide in Xinjiang.

This video interviewing 3 different ambassadors is just fantastic.
Max Blumenthal (multi award American journalist) in The Grayzone channel has lots of info about American cover ups there, Daniel Dumbrill is great and fair, Jayoe Nation, Professor William (Bill) Brown, Cyrus Janssen and many others are doing such fantastic jobs putting out reasonable, fair truths about China. Well, people can say western youtubers are bribed to say good things about China but 3 different Ambassadors? Bribing Ambassadors ?? Ambassadors are people with integrity and well respected, not the type you can take for granted and what they said are well represented and not to be taken lightly.
I used to admire western countries like America for decades but the last 2 years really opened up my eyes about their lies, fabrications of fake news, even creating wars for their benefits, hell, even Trump with the slip of his tongue said he's pulling troops out of Syria but keeping the oil in recorded video.!! Iraq was the victim of American lies too, America knew there's no WMD but proceeded, Japan was suppressed in the 80s when it got close to competing against America economically too (refer Plaza Accord), sorry to say, I've lost total respect for America's administration. Manipulations of true news to become lies are so common even till today, just look at what Fox News vs. CNN are churning out in order to run down its opponent.............exactly the same method used to run down China.

"Deliberately overlooked" is being very generous. We're 6 months from Antony Blinken making a speech before the UN Security Council. The ambassadors are correct. You can't waste too much time with the Xinjiang defense. Stay the course and highlight the West's human rights abuses (e.g. Canadian reform school deaths).

exemplar, take control of terrorism is basic for any country, we in our west countries known about so well, and China do it in short time, and more over, bring progress to this places, one shot two pigeons, and we still fight with terrorism with not total solution, then becomes so valuable what they did, have a great value US can't hidden beyond silly discoutses from tv, and this is what put bad our incapable governances whom expending as in Afghanistan or Iraq trillions and loosing thousands of lifes and on top of that have to draw and back home. Another war loosed, another Vietnam, is a shame. Lies about Xinjian are naked, are property of losers discourses and are bad propaganda for us! and good for what China achieves and the world seen this.
