In today's science experiment we visualise the environmental impact that an invasive specie's dna has in the eradication of a indigenous species dna.
This model applies to both animals and plants that face the threat of a constant invasive dna supply.
    The rules of the experiment:
Each mating pair is unique to the generation.
Each cell has no resistance to mating with ANY other colour cell.
Offspring is produced in the place of the parent.
(exception being the constants e.g pure red cell or pure white cell)
I added a black spot to visualise the mixed dna, as it is hard to tell the difference as a viewer. The black spot is removed if a cell is 100% a colour - either white or red.
The experiment helped display the devastation an invasive specie's dna has on a indigenous population, if the invading dna was a constant. We also learned that in a very short time the process can become irreversible.
Our conclusion is that to save indigenous populations, invading dna has to be removed from the mating pool. Also that to restore the damage that an invasive specie inflicts can be done over time, if the pure native dna is a constant in the pool of mating.
    Q&A
Q: What were the white and red blocks.
A: The white block represented a indigenous organism dna, be it animal or plant. And the red represented an invading organism's dna.
Q: How did you do the simulation.
A: I wrote code in a programme based on the rules I mentioned in the video.
    Q: Who financed this?
    A: This was self funded.
Q: What was the video game mentioned at the end?
A: Cowboys vs Monsters - you can get it on Steam here store.steampowered.com/app/29...
