I would argue against the G95 being among the worst cameras. I strongly consider buying one because of two main reasons: 1) First two digit camera in Panasonics lineup that has unlimited recording even inside the EU 2) Unlimited battery life because of USB-C power. Not just USB charging but USB power! And all that with a lower price than a GH5.
@@FlappySock But the G9 doesnt offer USB power and unlimited video recording. Imho the G95 offers more features that make it a GH5 alternative than a G9 alternative. But we dont need to argue that the G95 is overpriced compared to any similar m4/3 camera, I agree.

Sorry guys - the Sigma fp is great! An electronic shutter means less camera shake. Rolling shutter is minimal. Put an image stabilized lens on it and the photos are terrific. The menus are simple and easy to navigate. And the light weight makes it so easy for travel. We need smaller gear for full-frame!

@@andreasbuder4417 according to Vision, it is a very well balanced hammer. Yes, it is usually used as a Single AF tool. But in the opening scene of Thor: Ragnarok, we can see Thor using it for Continuous AF on the minions of Surtur. Works very very well. Although Mjölnir and Storm Breaker can only do Face Detect at best, and fails at Eye Detect, but given their size, i think Face Detect is good enough. Btw, the Leica SL2 with the 90-280 mounted does remind one of Mjölnir right? :)

I've bought a 7artisans 25mm f1.8 for 80monies this year. It's terrible. It's got weird blurring on the sides. It's not sharp. Weird colorcast. I took my best pictures with it. I love it. Best lens of 2019
Yeah and I feel APS-C MF combo makes sense for Fuji too. There is enough difference for the sensor size. The difference between P APS-C and FF is a bit "Meh"

Thought the SL3 might end up as the worst camera of the year, and I'm so glad that it did. It's not an outright bad camera by any means, but the ways Canon crippled the camera (while only adding in a borderline useless "4k" mode) are just unforgivable.
It often is Canon, actually. In fact, I vaguely recall these guys naming the Canon XC10 as the worst camera (or worst from a major manufacturer, at least) they'd ever reviewed on their old show, before they moved to DPReview.

Eos R should have been in the list of worst cameras. Even more expensive than the A7mk3, but lacks full frame 4K, IBIS and dual slots. It's a fine camera in many cases, but not worth the price and just proves how canon milks their loyal customers by offering less for more money than competitors.
Currently 1500 with the adapter and a speedlight with no sales tax on adorama. Agree about it not being to the level of the sony, but remember a few years ago you'd have to drop 3-4k for anything full frame so I think the camera community including myself are spoiled.
@@QUINPANO Price of full frame has gone down a lot but the launch piece of the Eos R was way too high. It still proves that canon get away with milking their customers on an extreme level in broad daylight.
MUCH better than last year. Still, look back at the old TCSTV "best of" and they still feel more festive and natural. You had the perfect recipe back then. Not to say I didn't enjoy the video this year, so all-in-all, good (or at least better) job DPReview.

The GFX100 for me is the best camera this year. Best IQ, video and all. IBIS, medium format, Fuji colors, 100 megapixels, etc. etc.

The SL3 / 250D is a much better camera than the M50 if only for the better grip. I tried an M50 but changed to SL3..
