    Update: I did indeed purchase this kit from Tractor Innovations. Spoke to him on the phone, and figured out exactly what I needed for my application to add rear remotes on my L4701 Kubota for my log splitter. Everything went without a hitch. In a few hours I had the remotes installed and my splitter works flawlessly! Thank you, Tractor Innovations!

    I purchased this kit from Tractor Innovations...incredible customer service! The owner called me to verify my make and model of tractor and then updated me right away with the shipping info. The kit was as advertised; my son and I installed it on our B3300 in about 30 min and it worked perfectly first time. High quality components, cheaper than anything else I could find and exceptional customer service! Thank you!

    Genius product and one of the best purchases I've made for my Kubota L3940! I'd been looking to add rear hydraulics but the dealer installed option was far too expensive and other options are much more complex. This was the perfect solution at a very fair price. Install went exactly like the video showed and it works beautifully. Love how I can control the rear hydraulics with the same control I use for the loader- and benefit from the float feature as well (as I used the lift and lower circuit from the loader). I also purchased the hydraulic top link and the quality of both is excellent. Thank you Tractor innovations!

    I added 2 service ports and all was well, until of course I bought a ditch-bank flail mower. This required 2 more service ports which I had added. They work flawlessly!!! Andy is super responsive, great to work with and worked to make sure I was 100% satisfied with his product - which I am. I would highly recommend that anyone looking to add service ports to the back of their tractor use this product and DO NOT pay the ridiculously overpriced install from Kubota. Thanks Andy and I hope your company makes a billion dollars! Stay safe!

    Hi, job well done. I like your presentation as it is straightforward, no time-wasting redundance. I would appreciate any advice for a L2850, which is only fitted with a rear lifter, but no quick-release connectors at all. ( Extractor at the back has its own hydraulic pump/control-valveblock, which is driven by the power-shaft. Regards Heinz

    @fhuber7507 Před 3 lety

    Everyone needs to understand that connected as per this video, it uses the loader stick to control an aux function.
    You must go to the loader stick to make whatever it is you are trying to operate work and while you are making that device's hydraulics move, your loader (in this case raise/lower the arms) is not going to move.
    .
    I can even think of cases where 2 of these kits would be a good idea to tilt a rear mount implement fore-aft and side-side with the loader stick. (that would be some fun running the hoses...)
    .
    Its a useful solution to many things. But it does have limits.
    .
    The typical grapple diverter uses an electric diverter valve instead of the manual. That is a more expensive valve because its electrically operated.
    I'm sure he could make such a kit very easily just by sourcing the valves.
    You would get really tired of doing grapple work with the manual diverter valve.
    .
    Mechanically, its a great solution for devices such as his hydraulic tilt on the rear forks (as demonstrated), or raise/lower for some 3 point devices that need it and are generally operated sitting in the seat of the tractor.
    .
    Its a better priced kit than others I have seen with the manual valve, because it includes hoses.
    .
    Just know what you are getting and what it can and can not do.
    .
    For something that you will want constant flow and will control from the ground (like the person commenting who wants to run a log splitter) this is the wrong kit.... as presented.
    .
    I would be surprised if they do not start making other type kits available, since that is a natural progression from this kit.

    • @TractorInnovations
      @TractorInnovations  Před 3 lety

      Thanks for the kind words and description of what this kit does - you're exactly right about how it controls the aux circuit. Good to see it put in someone else's words.
      One clarification on log splitters - usually, a log splitter has its own valve, so if you hook it up to the remotes, and bungee cord the control lever to make fluid constantly flow, then you can operate the log splitter without returning to the loader controls. This is the same as factory installed remotes - you end up bungee-cording it in position to get constant flow.
      Thanks for your interest and business!
      Andy

      So I don't know yet if I will need added functions.
      But I am doing a lot of research and I have used tractors before.
      .
      Not a brand listed on your site, but I expect the Kubota kit would fit if I were to want that style kit.
      I'm more likely to want the electric diverter with a button on the loader handle.
      Note at 9:15 to 10:00 (appx) him talking about the "Power beyond" loop. This is the right place for a log splitter to tie in.

    I think I'm going to order this kit for my L3800. I really like the simplicity of it and not having to make electrical connections and worry about wires and what not. Do you have any photos of it on an L3800 by chance so I can get a rough idea what it would look like? I have a 3rd function installed and for a grapple. Just wanna see if I'd have too much of a rat's nest of hoses in a little area.

    I love this idea. I have a 1999 Kubota M4700. I am currently looking at fixing some haydraulic issues. I want to add a grapple but my loader is slow. I feel like I shouldn't have to increase the RPM just to operate the loader and bucket. I need to address my hydraulic issues before buying new things for the tractor. My Hydraulic Valve is sloppy and has too much play in it when operating. I feel that is my issue. I'm curious if I should get a different valve with multiple controls. What's your opinion?

    I ordered your remote Plug n Play kit last night. What I need to know is your rear port you attach the top link hoses in, does it require hoses with a..." Valve Type Couplers " or hoses with a " Ball Type Couplers ". Also if I install a hydraulic tilt/side link will this work on it also as long as I have the right hose and couplers. Would all I have to do is disconnect the top link and plug in the tilt/side link? I am kind of new at this and the company I am ordering my Top link and Tilt/Side link needs to know if its a Valve type or Ball type couplers so they can send me the right hoses all ready-made up and ready to go. As soon as I hear from you I will order everything I need to install your Plug N play remote kit.

    • @TractorInnovations
      @TractorInnovations  Před 4 lety

      Hi Altus, thanks for your order. Either style of Pioneer 8010 fitting will work. The poppet sytyle flows more than the ball style, but it's not important for these fittings - you're moving max 8gpm through a 1/2in fitting rated for 20gpm. The kit comes with one set of male couplers to attach to your implement. You can get them easily at your local farm store. They are the 1/2" size, so be sure to get bushings to reduce it to whatever hose size you're using.

  • @gaspardaltus
    @gaspardaltus Před 4 lety

    I received my plug n play remote kit and got it mounted and the hoses connected to the front loader just like you have it in this video. Tomorrow I will install the long hoses to the remote and my hydraulic top link... They came not installed, no big deal!! What my question is the two long hoses that go to the rear how do you know which hose on the top link connects to which coupler on the back? As you put them under the tractor and to the rear they kind of cross. Does the hose on the right side/front of the remote valve as you are facing the remote valve connect to the front hose on the cylinder and the left/back hose on the remote connect to the back hose on the retractable arm that attaches to the implement or just the opposite. I've never install hydraulics so I want to make sure I get it right the first time.

    • @TractorInnovations
      @TractorInnovations  Před 4 lety

      Great Question Altus - It doesn't matter which hose is whitch to the rear. You can experiment with them before you mount in the rear bracket. You may want to figure out which one gets fluid when you use "lift" and which one gets fluid on "lower", and you could label them at the back, so that when you're hooking up an implement, you know which way it's going to go when you move the lever.
      Yes, the manufacturer was out of stock of my normal valves, so I am using SAE connections for this run. They wouldn't fit in the box fully connected, but those fittings are super easy to install. You can just do it by hand.the Oring does the work. Thank for your interest. Let us know how it works for you!

    • @TractorInnovations
      @TractorInnovations  Před 3 lety

      Yes, this kit works great on a L4330. I've had quite a few customers use this for log splitters. To make fluid flow constantly to the rear (so you can use the valve on the log splitter), you simply need to bungee-cord the loader control lever into position. This is the same if you had factory remotes - you have to bungee cord the control knob. I recommend the Plug & Play kit for dead-simple installation. Economy kit works great on your tractor too, just takes using a wrench to move the factory quick-couplers over to this switching valve (Plug & Play comes with an extra set of quick-couplers already installed. You can order on the website listed above or call me.

      This kit feeds one one 2-direction hydraulic circuit. When you pull the knob, the loader function is locked where it was, until you put the knob back in. Super simple mechanical system. Not as fancy as true third-function systems, but you can't beat the price or pure mechanical reliability.

    Do you need to typically add more hydraulic fluid to tractor when you use these kits?

    • @TractorInnovations
      @TractorInnovations  Před 3 lety

      Calculating the volume of all the hoses in the kit comes to about 1/10 gallon of fluid. It depends more on what you attach to it. If you attach a big cylinder, It's certainly possible to be a little low when all your cylinders are extended. Just adding the kit and a top link or something simple shouldn't need fluid if you were topped up before, but always good to check periodically!

      Yes, this kit will work great for that. Most augers don't really use the "dump" circuit, so you can use that circuit to spin the auger. I looked up your tractor, and it generates 9.4gpm on the hydraulic circuit. Check your auger to make sure that flow is within the allowable range, and you should be good to go!

      @@TractorInnovations Thank you for your reply to my question. My auger will run on 5 to 10 gpm, so my tractor's 9.4 gpm should power it, but I am confused about what you mean when you say to "run the auger on the "dump" cycle." Are you saying I can just run hoses from my auger into my loader's dump cycle and just run it that way without a third function? Anyway, thank you for your time, and thank you for the video you made.

      @@johnbabcock2925 That flow sounds perfect to make the auger run. Your idea isn't far off - if you add the switching valve to the "dump" circuit, you'll be able to control the up/down motion with the loader "lift" circuit, including putting it into the "float" detent. While the fluid to run your auger will becoming from the dump circuit, for safety and functionality, I would recommend a switching valve instead of just disconnecting the dump circuit - you'll still want to be able to adjust the angle of your attachment point - for hooking up the auger and in use, this is really important. You never want to get something hooked up and hanging over your head, and then, to detach it, have it all bound up. Even if you did manage to get it hooked up and operate without needing to move the attachment point, it would likely leave those hoses under load, making it hard to connect and disconnect. The switching valve lets you switch back and control everything about your loader in less than a second, even if that cylinder is under load. I've got the parts ready to assemble one for your tractor. Give me a shout and I'll have it in the mail tomorrow.

    Would I have full functionality of a grapple by using this kit on an L2501 with an LA525 loader?

    • @TractorInnovations
      @TractorInnovations  Před 6 měsíci

      This kit works great with a grapple. It is a little different than an electronic 3rd function valve. With this kit: Knob in - you can control lift and dump. Knob Out You can control lift and grapple. The dump angle is locked in place while using the grapple. Set that dump angle right, and you can do a lot of work without having to switch back to it. Here's a video of the grapple working:

      Yes, this kit fits perfectly on those late model B-series tractors. The plug-n-play kit will have you up and running quickly with no unscrewing of anything on your hydraulic system. The Economy kit is complete, and would work well for you, but you lose the flexibility of swapping it from the lift circuit to the dump circuit, and vice-versa if your implement needs it. Fell free to ask any other questions! Andy

    • @TractorInnovations
      @TractorInnovations  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes, it works well for that. The kit now includes a bracket to mount the switching valve underneath the loader valve - no drilling! To make constant flow to the remotes for your log splitter, you'll want to bunger-cord the loader control into the right position to make fluid flow (Float position doesn't make fluid flow)

    • @rondavis167
      @rondavis167 Před 3 lety

      @@TractorInnovations That's what I figured, but just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed something. I already have a different installation under my loader valve to run a third function for a front grapple. So I may actually want to add some longer hoses and mount the switching valve in another location. Of course, that's my own adaptations that will be at my discretion, not a concern of yours. But if it all works out like I'm thinking it will, I will be buying your kit and I'll send you pics of the install.

      It might be inconvenient for the splitter, since you'd have to put on a log, go to the loader stick, split the log, go back to the splitter...
      .
      You night be able to cobble up a way to move the loader valve from the back of the tractor, but I don't think this is the solution for operating a log splitter.
      .
      But it would operate the splitter.
      It would work to split an already existing rear hydraulic set at the rear of the tractor such as a baler that needs 2 separate , but not simultaneous hydraulic functions.

    • @rondavis167
      @rondavis167 Před 3 lety

      @@fhuber7507 The splitter I am going to purchase is made for 3 point application. It has its own control mounted on the splitter. All it needs is hydraulic flow from the tractor. Like mentioned above, I will only need to lock the loader stick in the position I want, then run everything from the splitter.
