  • What are cellular lightweight concrete blocks?
Cellular concrete is the introduction of air into the concrete mixture. Air entrained concrete is created when small air bubbles are introduced as an addition to the concrete mixture. The addition increases workability and once hardened, makes the concrete more durable with less cracking, shrinking, and weather resistance.
clc blocks or clc bricks are manufactured in factory conditions in a controlled environment. In this video, you will learn how to find rates of each block and know the CLC blocks manufacturing process, clc blocks disadvantages.

In CLC we use foaming agent: Foam Stabilizer. It is a self-made, white powder. It is made of triethanolamine (20%), polyacrylamide (40%), and hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (40%)
In AAC no foaming agents are used but Aluminum powder is used as an air-entraining (aerating) or pore-forming agent and is the most common agent used

At 2:54 you address the three classifications - HDCC, MDCC, LDCC. "Load-bearing" is a highly subjective term. I have seen small structures built from LDCC, and am hoping to build a single-story residential house using LDCC. Based on estimates of compressive strength, it seems that the load-bearing ability of even LDCC is sufficient for the 1-floor residential loads. The flexural/bending strength will be provided by fabric-reinforced surface bonding cement on the inside and outside.
Do you have more detail on "load-bearing" or the suitability of LDCC for "light structural" work?
    Thanks!
