One of the three main fellas cutting it down worked at out local home depot until last year.
He's a super nice guy, I've been an acquaintance of his for 20 years. He has such horrible memories of war that he has shared with me; his stories have altered me in a good way.

I believe this is the Hungarian Revolution of 1956
It's a mashup of two separate occasions. 0:45 is definitely Prague (I've been to that very spot myself), but the Prague statue was blown up, not toppled. The rest is Budapest.
