Ideally yes, but it makes more sense to just eat and drink like you normally do and just wear the trays for more days.

Dentist office told me to wear 60 min, even up to 90 if i wanted, couldnt do more than 60 min, sharp pain, went to sleep, teeth ACHE this morning, checked the box, i have the 15%, did i leave it in too long?? 👀
Hi, according to Ultradent (the company that makes Opalescence Go) the recommended wear time for the 15% version is 15 to 20 minutes, once a day.

I see very little gel in trays. Are they supposed to have gel you bite into?
Hi, only a little bit of gel is needed. Too much gel will cause gum irritation.
I have the second set in my mouth as I type this. First one had no noticeable difference as you said. Very slight sensitivity afterwards.

Hi, you get better results if you use it consistently. But you can skip a day or two, it will just take longer.
How long does the the whitening last after completing the kit? . I just got mine from the dentist
Once you whiten your teeth they will pick up stain from the foods you eat and drink (and if you smoke). I usually need to whiten again for a day or two every year.

She was a bit skeptical because of some white spots I got. Any experience with that?
Also, is it recommended to avoid coffee for a while like it is the case for in-office bleaching?

Hi, I've had white spots appear on my own teeth when I first whitened them. In my case, the color evened out as I whitened. For best results, avoid drinking coffee or tea. I still drink coffee every morning, I just need to whiten a little more often.

No need. Use them as soon as you buy them. If you have any issues with them, talk to your dentist. My Ultradent rep is on top of things, although I haven't had any problems (knock on wood.......).......
I was wondering the same thing. The box has a tiny symbol that looks like it's saying to put them in the fridge, but my dentist doesn't keep them cold so I figure by the time I've bought them it shouldn't make a difference whether I put them in the fridge but wasn't sure. And now I have to wait for them to come up to room temp which just takes longer lol 😂 so I'll put them on the counter instead
Mine said keep in fridg while not using them.. when ready to use then take them out for 20 min before using .
I have tried to apply the mouthpieces twice now. The top green one will not separate from the white tray. If I pull too hard, the whole thing comes off. So two wasted trays thus far. I really bite on them and suck but the outer one just won't come off. Any suggestions? Thank you!
Hi, I've had that happen. When it does I put it back in, then pull the edge of the green tray away from the white part that holds the gel. I will work my way around the edge of the tray to separate the two. It usually works.

The trays cover the entire surface of the tooth.

I did the 15% for 30 minutes and I brushed my teeth with toothpaste as well. Slight sensitivity. Do I brush my teeth with or without toothpaste after doing the strips?
I didn’t notice I was suppose to do it for 20 minutes. Now I know not to do that mistake again hahaha

What if you accidentally swallow some of the gel? I’ve never used them. Does the white tray cover part of the gums?
Swallowing the gel won't hurt you. Part of the Opalescence Go tray material does cover your gums. The gel is a lower strength gel so it won't bother your gums as much. Thank you very much for watching.
When you brush, should you use toothpaste?
To remove the whitening gel I don't use any toothpaste.
Should i wear them 10 days in a row or ten weeks so once a week?
You will get better results wearing them for 10 days in a row.
@@VeryNiceSmileDental I just got my teeth bleached yesterday at the dentist so I haven’t used them yet plus I just ordered the opalscence bleaching tube to place in my retainers, it’s arriving Thursday, I don’t have much sensitivity at the moment at all so I’m thinking of using the guards tonight & for couple days, but my main focus is to use the tube on my retainers, my order comes Thursday, plus I ordered the opalscence tooth paste for sensitive teeth & protection from cavities that item comes in on the 12 of dec
Should I still use everyday or should I manage it a bit longer since I have more products on the way also from me getting my teeth bleached at the dentist yesterday?
Try using the gel and see if your teeth get sensitive. Not everyone gets sensitivity, or if they do it's usually mild. If they are sensitive then stop using the gel until you get the toothpaste for sensitive teeth.
