- I wanted to pick a technique that I'd not done before for this soap. After browsing through some cold process soap techniques I saw the spin swirl, I've seen it before but never tried it, so now's the time.

Although my cold process soap making tutorials are of a tutorial nature, they are intended for people who have a good understanding of making cold process soap. The information given is based on what works for me, however, there are lots of variables associated with cold process soap making and I, therefore, take no responsibility for the results achieved when using the techniques or methods explained in these tutorials. Cold process soap involves the necessary use of sodium Hydroxide (lye) which is a very dangerous substance. Before attempting and cold process soap making you should ensure you are fully aware of the lye safety procedures and always wear the correct safety equipment when making soap.

Oh that was a dream to watch! I am fond of slab mold soaps, they get this chunky format I really like. These soaps are so lovely, beautiful pattern ❤ thank you for a delightful video🙏❤️
Glad you liked it!
A really beautiful and pretty shaped soap was made ~ The color is pretty and it is a pleasant soap ~~ Thank you for sharing the beautiful soap making video ~~
That's so kind of you to say, thank you so much 😊
I love the way that came out. I haven’t tried that technique, yet.
Ooh make sure you give it a go
The swirl patterns revealed on the cut sides are pretty cool too! Really like this color palette.
😉😍
❤this is lovely ! i like it before the spin just as much as after❤
👍😍
This was super interesting and made me think of 70s wallpaper 😂
Ooh yes, I can see that
Yeah it did to me also.
Yes Lisa, i really enjoyed your nice Video, thanks! ❤
👍😍
Such an effective technique! A swirl with no need for any tools - one less thing to keep track of and wash up! I know what you mean about not getting a design reveal when cutting this kind of soap, almost feels like a missed step. But hooray for a simple technique. Thanks for making us a soapy video even though you don't need to make more soap right now. Greatly appreciated!! 😊🤩
You're welcome!
😍👍
I really like where you stopped swirling. Especially that area that looks like a teardrop. 😊
Me too.
Lucky!
😉
What a neat technique❣️❣️❣️❣️
Thank you! 😊
I love it! Another Kick Ass Soap, Lisa!!! Bravo! Well done my dear friend!!!
Thank you so much, that's very kind of you.
Beautiful soap, and this is a pour that is also fun to watch! Thanks
Glad you liked it!
Fun video. And what great colors for Halloween!
Glad you liked it.
Very cool! And Halloween colors, too!
That's so kind of you to say, thank you so much 😊
Very interesting technique! I would have to change my recipe i think because mine never stays that fluid for that long. I use a lot on cocoa butter.
Beautiful soap Lisa- great Halloween-ie colours! I love how the swirl came out. Surprise swirls are always fun!
The more I practice, the luckier I get!
😄
Groovy. I love it!
Cool!
😉😍
I did this technique when I did my soap course at The Soap School 😁😁😁😁
Did it come out ok?
very nice, as always!
😇👍
good one, congrats
Thank you, appreciate it.
You stopped swirling just in time. I think it came out really well. I was laughing when you said that you have thousands of soaps (I am certain they will be gone in a snap). I mostly make soap for my own pleasure, to give as gifts and when people have asked me to make them for special occasions. I hate it when people say, "Oh it is too pretty to use." I say you need to use it so I can make more. You had asked for my name. It is Robin. Thank you for sharing.
Hey Robin,
Thanks for the appreciation.
We do have a bunch of soaps in the cupboard, but they won't be there for long. 😇
Really nice. Seen that technique a few times before but I haven't tried that before, either. Yours came out wonderful. Now I need to try it.
Cheers & Blessings 👍🤗
Happy soaping!
Those colours are so nice together ❤️ I haven't done a spin swirl in forever, now I am wondering why not?? Haha ❤
😄😍
HI, I just placed an order with you and I thank you so much for what you do, I would like to know if I can show you my recipe for my future soaps that I would like to market in Italy and then I have some questions, let me ask you in private if it were possible. Thank you
🧼
Love how this came out. Color combo is perfect! 💕 another master piece by Miss Lisa. 💕💕
I'm so pleased you liked it and thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment for me ☺️
Note to self: In case of zombie apocalypse, Lisa's house has got the soap.
🤣🤣🤣
😂
We see you. Orange mica in orange ring jug, green mica in green ring jug. Orange and green spatula too, but in opposition to mica colour so it’s not deceptive on the eye. Yes, aesthetic matters… we see you see but don’t say. It’s glorious to spot!
Talking of spotting things was that a pour error I spotted at 7:07 ? Looks like you nearly repeated it too… it’s ok it really doesn’t show in the lovely end result. (It could have been intentional… so wanted to ask.)
Talking of end result, your concern about the end result being dull when cutting a slab (with the design not being hidden). I confess I thought the finished slab looked ok, but it wasn’t until it was subdivided you can see a unified pattern…. It allows a better focus.
Oh, and while talking of focus… enjoy that exhibition/show… I hope it goes well. (Please remove those bars of soaps from coming out your ears… they’ll be way easier to sell that way.)
