I would highly recommend you guys to watch " Chakde India " hopefully the trailer as well as the movie. It's about Women Indian Hockey Team but the plot line does not just focus on sports. India is a really diverse country, and we have variegated cultures that tend to have lot of internal conflicts due to difference in opinions as well as to an extent language barrier. This movie talks about all these elements along with Hockey as a sport. English (American English in particular) has some expulsive consonants,
usually only as a first letter in a word, like C, H, K, P, and T. If
you say the word "Paper" you will note the the first P is expulsive (it
is spoken more forcefully with an extra expulsion of air from between
the lips), but the second P is not. The letters T in, for example,
"Totem" or "Tater" are the same - the first T is expulsive, the second
is not.
Hindi has the same consonant sounds as English, plus a few more. There
are 33 consonants and 13 vowels in Hindi. This allows Hindi to have
fewer exceptions to a rule. There's no rule like "I before E, except
after C, except when it wEIrdly is not". A word is written and read
exactly the same, no guesswork involved. The letter P for instance, can
be either an expulsive or non-expulsive initial letter. The Word
"Phaar" (rip,tear) begins with an expulsive P, but the words "Pahaar"
(mountain) or "Pakistan" (The Land Of the Pure/Holy) begin with a
non-expulsive P sound.
So, the letters DH in Dhoom are not two separate sounds, rather they
form a single expulsive D sound. All that to say that Dhoom sounds much
closer to the English word "Doom" than the non-word "Duh-Hoom". :)

I would highly recommend you guys to watch " Chakde India " hopefully the trailer as well as the movie. It's about Women Indian Hockey Team but the plot line does not just focus on sports. India is a really diverse country, and we have variegated cultures that tend to have lot of internal conflicts due to difference in opinions as well as to an extent language barrier. This movie talks about all these elements along with Hockey as a sport. Albeit, I don't know how the voting works for you to choose a trailer, but I will give assurance that you guys will love it :)
