At first, they used to have a question in cabin crew application form regarding age which was "Are you minimum 21 years of age? " But now they removed that question from application form. Now they added another question which is about high school degree completion year like in which year you've got your high school degree. What does this means, people who are below 21 can apply too?

The questions is, is it qatar airways are too strict for whom wore a braces during recruitment process? Currently i have been wore a braces for almost 1 year and an half and will be debond on early next year.

Hi. Yes, experience in the aviation industry isn’t a prerequisite naman. Sa swimming, kahit basic lang. May life jacket naman sa training.

Hi. Dun sa initial interview, one on one siya pero yes nasa likod yung applicants. Pero sa daming tao and sa laki ng ballroom ng Manila Pen, kayo lang ni interviewer magkakarinigan. Sa impact interview, by batch kayo papasok so maririnig ng lahat ng nasa room.

Hello. Sa scars naman basta not visible while wearing the uniform, di sila masyadong strict. So okay lang yan. Regarding the experience, di naman required. Yung first step usually sa open day is arm reach. Dapat abot niyo yung 212cm na minimum

I think in most local airlines, yes. As long as it’s not visible when wearing the uniform.

Hello po! Even in scars, should I be completely honest in declaring it?
Hello! It’s really a case-to-case basis. Personally I’d declare everything, especially if it’s not visible when wearing the uniform and if it’s small lang. But some would not since they can conceal it naman. Siguro if you think the scar will affect your chances of being selected and you can conceal it well, don’t declare na lang. Conceal na lang again during the medical exam. 😊 All the best!

yes. if it's not visible, it won't be a big deal. but just declare it.

Lahat ba kayo na pumasa are ex-cabin crews? Most of the QA crew that passed who I follow on Insta were previouly from PAL and CebPac. Was there anyone who are first timers or had no cabin crew experience who were able to make it? Any idea din how many Filipinos were hired? Parang umabot ata kayo ng more than a 100 based sa mga pictures ng IPAMS last year..
Hello! No naman 😊 There were some na no aviation experience at all. Hindi ko alam kung ilan exactly. But I’m guessing more than a thousand? Sunod sunod kasi yung dating ng batches nun kaya di na rin ako updated ilan ang Pinoy sa next batches 😅

Best if you have your braces removed already. They'll ask you to have them removed before you train/fly. I'm not really sure if they allow the gap.

Yes, they hire fresh graduates! 😊 Just do your research and try to know as much as as you can about the airline. It’ll also help if you practice answering questions in front of the mirror. Try to appear confident as much as possible.

Hi 😊 it depends on the coordinator. I was fortunate to be handled by Ms. Jenna, who was quick and super efficient. It only took perhaps a week or two before I started with the requirements. But there are coordinators who may take a while to get back to you. I suggest while waiting, maybe you can already start preparing some of the requirements like vaccination certificates, passport, etc.

Not really! There are crew who have moles on their faces.

Hello! You can apply as long as you're a high school graduate. Unlike airlines here in the Philippines, there's no minimum height qualification (given that you can pass the 212cm arm reach).

Hello po. I can’t remember how much exactly pero usually sa medical exam po mapapagastos. Then depende pa po yan sa results kasi baka may pagawa sila, like pabunot ng teeth or pagawa ng glasses or may paulit na exam.

Hi po! Not so sure about that kasi parang wala rin akong nakalipad pa na may gap ang teeth. Hindi ako sigurado kung sobrang strict si Qatar Airways pagdating sa gap. Sa airlines kasi sa Pinas requirement lagi ang “good set of teeth”. Pero pag konti lang naman po, baka okay lang. Just give it a try! 😊 Good luck!

Hello! Medyo lang. I wouldn’t really say strict kasi kung ma-conceal mo naman ng maayos, okay lang. Siguro mas strict sila sa scars near the wrist or yung mga medyo disturbing. If acne scars lang naman, madadala ‘yan sa skincare. 🙂
