@@Goku17yen Yes, Yugi is Atem's reincarnation, so a grown up Yugi is Atem in every single physical characteristic besides his race and skin color. I know, I know, just hear me out.
He's a reincarnated Atem. Not 1:1 reincarnation. It's weird. Yugi is Atem from a past life. I will try to add the real world religious elements if there are any. This is how the Rod aided Kaiba vs Ishizu, he *is* Priest Seto from a former life, just like Yugi is Atem from a past life. Same with Yugi's grandpa.
So while it's hard to square the circle of Yugi being alive, and Atem being dead, inside the puzzle, or in the afterlife, (and his grandpa,) you're best thinking it's more of a semi-reincarnation.

I can only think of a few ideas for the elemental hero fusions:
Bubbleman and Necroman = Poisonman, its effect can create one token in defense mode for each monster it defeats in battle once per turn.
Bladedge and Necroman = Elemental Paladin Darkedge, if there are no other monsters in the user’s field then it gains 500 attack/defense points. If this monster is destroyed in battle, it can banish itself to bring the fusion materials into defense position or special summon one lv 4 or lower monster in defense mode from your hand.
Clayman and Bladedge = Elemental Hero Stonedge, all I can think of is having it draw in all incoming attacks if it’s in defense mode and deal damage equal to the difference between the monster’s defense points and the attacker’s attack points.

First, he duels with his heart and just for fun. Then, he started to get more ambitious in winning and tended to overthink and hesitate. Then, he got paranoid over the consequences of losing and dropped the fun completely. And in the end, he found his joy again in dueling.

With regards to the "hyper-specific cards" in Jaden's deck, I've felt for a long while that a cool way to retrain some of the older elemental heroes (especially the normal monster ones) would be to, in part, mix a version of the effects of their hyperspecific cards into them. Like, for instance, a Clayman retrain that adapts Clay Charge as one of its effects, allowing it to destroy itself along with any monster it battles (maybe even do some burn like clay charge too). Or, another example, a Wildheart retrain with an effect like Cyclone Boomerang, though ideally without needing for it to be destroyed by card effect.

When this card is Special Summoned from anywhere besides the Extra Deck, draw until you have the same number of cards in your hand as your opponent.
Bubbleman and Necroshade = Elemental Hero Shadowstorm - Dark Att, Warrior Type, ATK: 2200 / DEF: 2000. Effect: This card cannot be used for Material for a Special Summon on the same turn it was Summoned from the Extra Deck. No cards can be activated in response to this monster's Summon or the activation of its effects. Once per turn, and only once that turn, you may discard up to 2 cards in order to send that many cards to their owner's GY. For each card you own that goes to the GY, draw 1 card. For each card your opponent controls that goes to the GY, discard one card from their hand at random.
Clayman and Bladedge = Elemental Hero Earthshatter - Earth Att, Warrior Type, ATK: 2600 / DEF: 2900. Effect: Whenever this monster attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing damage. When this monster is Summoned, all monsters your opponent controls are changed to Defense Position and cannot change their positions while EH Earthshatter is on the field. Monsters your opponents control cannot attack other monsters you control.
Bladedge and Necroshade = Elemental Hero Darkstalker - Dark Att, Warrior Type, ATK: 2600 / DEF: 2400. Effect: This card is unaffected by your opponent's card effects. Once per turn, at the start of the Battle Phase, you may Tribute another monster, and if you do, add both the Tributed monster's ATK and DEF to this monster's. This card may attack all monsters your opponent controls once each.
Necroshade and Clayman = Elemental Hero Tarcrafter - Earth Att, Warrior Type, ATK: 2400 /DEF: 3600. Effect: This card must be Fusion Summoned, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Once per turn, you may activate one of the following effects, depending on the position of this card:
*Attack Position - You may Tribute one monster your opponent controls to Special Summon one monster from your GY to their side of the Field in Attack Position.
*Defense Position - You may Tribute one monster you control to Special Summon one monster from your opponent's GY to your side of the Field in Defense Position. It cannot change its position this turn.

    Elemental HERO Blade Shadow
    Necroshade + Bladedge
    3000 ATK / 1800 DEF Lv 8 Dark Warrior
Piercing battle damage. Once per turn, you can target one face-up monster on your opponent's side of the field, switch it to face-down defense position (not a quick effect). But I did feel like I should mention the targeted effect wasn't a Quickie as a Walking Book Of Moon with 3k attack and piercing that floats would be kinda really good by GX standards.

the thing is, Jaden COULD have easily won this duel, had he done one thing his first turn. Set Edge Hammer.
If he had edge hammer set, on his second turn, he draws polymerization. Then he uses it to summon mudballman in attack mode.
He then uses monster reincarnation to send nightshade into the graveyard, and get out Bladedge.
He then activates edgehammer, destroys Blue eyes, then attacks Kaiba for game with mudballman.

    • @mayborneflower
      @mayborneflower Před 3 měsíci +3

It would’ve worked on the second turn too actually. Edge Hammer could’ve taken out Blue-Eyes as soon as Burst Stream of Destruction activated, causing it to fizzle. Then Kaibaman uses Paladin shenanigans to summon a second one. And oh wait, Skyscraper next turn would be useless without a 2050+ ATK beater to take out the second Blue-Eyes.
Jaden would have to be dumb enough to crash Mudballman to get Bubbleman live again and hope for a god-tier draw like Special Hurricane (which blows up Special Summoned monsters, taking Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon out of the game altogether) or Monster Reborn (to snipe a Blue-Eyes for himself, leaving Kaibaman unable to use Silent Doom without forcing a crash himself) to keep himself immediately in the game still.

4:10 this scenario kind of highlights the failure of the Elemental Hero archetype to live up to it's promise in my eyes. The idea of having an archetype take a stab at solving the "fusions are way too specific" problem by presenting a set of cards where any two of them could go into a specific fusion was a really interesting concept (and remember the Fusion deck had no upper size limit at this time, so even if that meant dozens of specific fusions, you'd still be allowed to run all of them at 3 copies). Unfortunately they failed to actually print fusions of every possible combination of even the original five heroes, much less combinations involving the later introduced ones, causing the problem to just reassert itself instead.

Bubbleman + Bladedge: Elemental HERO Liquidator (and it attacks with a high pressure water cannon, the kind that slices through things)
Its effect would deal piercing and let you draw a card when it deals battle damage
Bubbleman + Necroshade: Elemental HERO Depth Grip (like death grip but depth because water, maybe a little TOO much pun there, but it sounds cool to me, also he attacks by pulling you under the waves he makes)
Its effect would probably be to banish cards from the opponent's gy when it destroys something, and negate the effects of the monsters it destroys in battle
Clayman + Bladedge: Elemental HERO Terra Slicer (honestly can't think of much for this one, their power sets aren't really congruent, but I imagine he attacks by summoning sharp rocks from the ground)
Its effect would switch battle positions (since earthquakes appear to do that a lot in ygo) and do piercing damage
Bladedge + Necroshade: Elemental HERO Shadow Strike (bladedge turns into a ninja, using the shadow powers of necroshade or something)
This would be one of those monsters that can attack directly but only deal half damage, and it would probably still have piercing just in case
Necroshade + Clayman: Elemental HERO Swamp Soldier (He'd basically just be swamp thing from DC comics)
His effect would allow him to destroy backrow and then switch a monster's battle mode, basically making him a better version of the spark blaster combo Jaden employs a lot where he attacks then uses the blaster to swap to defense mode.

Clayman and Necroshade- Elemental Hero Crypt Crawler Effect-When this monster is face up on the field, no other HERO monster can be targeted with effects. When it is destroyed, summon is fusion materials in face up defense.
And finally! Necroshade and Bladedge! Elemental Hero Shadow Sword or Hexed Blade Effect-When this monster attacks a defense position monster, you're opponent can not activate traps or spells in response to that attack. Once per turn, you can send 1 card to the graveyard, destroy 1 card on your opponents turn. (Hexed Blade can't attack if this effect is activated.)

Their was no risk here as Jaden had no set cards and Mudballman had no other effects. Also, if you do not know? Fusion idea 4:
    Clayman + Bladedge
    3000ATK / 2800DEF
    Effect:
1 When attacking an opponent's monster, skips damage step and deals effect damage equal to the higher difference of ATK or DEF points
destruction of monsters follows normal rules
    ->
    example:
opponent has a in attack position BlueEyes 3000ATK 2500DEF
our monster has in attack position 3000ATK 2800DEF
ATK difference is 0 while DEF difference is 300points in our favour
-> opponent looses 300LP in effect damage - both monsters have 3000ATK and were in attack position -> both get destroyed
    example2:
opponent has Dark Magician in attack position 2500 / 2100
our monster has in attack position 3000 / 2800
ATK difference is 500 - DEF difference is 700
opponent looses 700LP in effect damage
Our monster has more ATK -> our monster stays, dark magician destroyed
2 When attacked by an opponent's monster -> goes into "defence" position
Will change opponents ATK and DEF to be the same as the lower of the two before damage calculation
    example:
    Blue-Eyes attacks our fusion 3000ATK 2500DEF
our fusion goes into defence position 2800DEF and changes Blue-Eyes' ATK to 2500
opponent can still activate card effects and spells to boost the now 2500"base"ATK of Blue-Eyes and still destroy our monster
is this a bit too convoluted?
the idea is to have a fusion monster that sorta acts like Joey's beloved sword/shield card and tip the scales in both battle situations

🏴‍☠ Bubleman + Bladedge = Elemental Hero Cutlass *[Pirate and gold themed]* (Gains 500 ATK for each monster it destroys!)
⏳ Bubleman + Necroshade = Elemental Hero Flowing Shadow *[Kinda like Liquid Soldier but with darkness and shadows]* (You can create 2 dark warrior tokens for tributes every turn, but they can't be used for link, synchro, or xyz summons)
🏗 Clayman + Bladedge = Elemental Hero Fissure *[Perhaps hero with a drill creating a fissure in the ground?]* (Piercing Battle Damage, reduces the DEF and ATK of monsters in the same column as him.)
💀 Bladedge + Necroshade = Elemental Hero Death Scythe *[Edgy grim reaper kinda hero.]* (Piercing Battle Damage, can tribute a Dark Monster to gain ATK equal to it's attack, amazing to use with Lair of Darkness to tribute your opponent's monters!)
⚰ Necroshade + Clayman = Elemental Hero Painful Weight *[Carries a big coffin on it's back to pummel enemies with!]* (Can Relinquish any monster on the field and protects itself with it, gaining ATK equal to IT'S DEFENSE.)

Elemental Hero Necro Bubbleman: (Bubbleman + Necroshade) Once per turn, at the start of the damage step, destroy any monster that battles this card.

Elemental Hero Rust Golem: (Bladedge + Necroshade) While this card is face up on the field, your opponent cannot target Elemental Heros you control with card effects, except this card.

Bubbleman + Necroshade= Elemental HERO Dark Waters DARK/ 800 ATK-2400 DEF: Discard One Monster,Spell or Trap from hand; Banish all cards of the same type from your opponent's field.
Clayman+Blade Edge= Elemental HERO Big Mountain EARTH/ 2550 ATK-2950 DEF: if this card is in Defense Positon, opponent can't target other HERO cards as long as this is face-up on field. If in Attack Position, it gains 300 attack for each HERO card on the Field and, once per turn, can't be destroyed or targeted by card effects.
Bubbleman+Blade Edge=Elemental HERO Captain Typhoon WATER/ 2400 ATTK- 1800 DEF: When this card is Special Summoned, destroy all other monsters on the field and do 200 points of damage to their controller for each monster destroyed this way.
Blade Edge+Necroshade= Elemental HERO Destiny Hero LIGHT/ 2400 ATK-2200 DEF:(this card is not treated as a Destiny Hero monster) If this card is targeted by the effect of or battles a Dark attribute monster(quick effect);remove that monster from the game.

@@johnnysizemore5797 Mountain is definitely the more balanced one (although that protection may be too good combined with his other effect) but waters ability would be busted mainly because there weren't that many banishing/general destruction options available back then thanks to the banlist.
Discarding a monster card and just banishing all the opponents monsters, to put it into perspective, it's a buffed raigeki, and raigeki was banned back then. And it's not a case like flare wingman where the fusion requires many steps to get out, you can get this out as your first card in a duel, specially with searchers like emergency call.
Not only that, but you can do it every turn, so it's not limited to the turn it is summoned, and you can still attack after using it's effect, so it almost guarantees a direct attack if you normal summon another monster like sparkman.
Or even better, if you get lucky, you can use necroshade's effect to normal summon a high level monster, and have both of them attack directly.
Or you can use it's effect to discard a strong monster in order to resurrect it with a magic card.

For the fusions in the order you listed:
EH Bubble Blade, 2600 atk, 2000 def: draw 1 card when this card is special summoned and allow you to special summon an E Hero from your hand after you draw if you control no other cards. Inflicts piercing battle damage.
EH Darkwater, 1500 Atk, 2400 Def: When this card is fusion summoned, special summon a Hero card from your graveyard ignoring its summoning conditions. That monster is treated as a Water monster while it is on the field. (Think of this as a marsh zombie for those not getting the theme I'm going for here)
EH Bladegolem, 2000 Atk, 2600 Def: This monster can attack while in Defense position. Use Def when calculating damage when battling in this way. Inflicts piercing damage.
EH Necroedge, 2600 Atk, 2000 Def: This card inflics piercing damage. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the graveyard, you can add 1 HERO card, or a card that lists a HERO monster in its description from your graveyard to your hand.
EH Idolman, 1700 Atk, 2500 Def: when this card is fusion summoned, send 1 HERO monster from your deck to the graveyard. When this card is sent to the graveyard add 1 HERO monster from your grave to your hand. This card can be used as a replacement fusion material for an E HERO fusion from the grave and is removed from play when used in this way. Polymerization is not needed for this fusion. (It is a clay idol, so I thought playing into it being a sort of summoning device would be cool)

    Fusion idea 5:
    Bladedge + Necroshade
    Necroedge (cuz im basic)
    3000ATK 1800DEF
    Inflicts piecing battle damage
If Necroedge attacks an effect monster, you may return an Elemental Hero from your graveyard to the bottom of the deck - negate the monster's effect until your opponent's End Phase
If Necroedge is sent to the graveyard -> You may special summon it's materials from the graveyard and you may shuffle your deck-> Necroedge cannot be special summoned or fusion summoned before your next End Phase
If Necroedge is in the graveyard and you have Bladedge and Necroshade on the field or in your hand, you may send them into the graveyard and special summon Necroedge - this counts as a fusion summon - you can only do so if you properly fusion summoned Necroedge before that in the duel
I'll try to clarify the special summoning in case I word vomitted in paragraphs above.
Basically, to be able to special summon it from the graveyard, it must have been fusion summoned at least once before in the duel.
    - So let's say you have a card that makes you discard a card from your extra deck
    - you discard Necroedge
    - you eventually have Bladedge and Necroshade on the field or in your hand
    - you CANT special summon Necroedge because it wasn't fusion summoned before it went into the graveyard
    also the special summon cooldown:
    - you fusion summon Necroedge
    - it gets destroyed and sent to graveyard
    - you special summon Necroshade and Bladedge because you didn't need to return them to deck with the other effect
    - you draw
    - YOU CANT immediately special summon Necroedge or fusion summon a copy yet
    -you end you phase
    - opponent does his thing
    - you draw
-you may now special or fusion summon Necroedge
    does that make sense?

  • @StardropGaming
    @StardropGaming Před 10 měsíci +1

Here's a fusion for Necroshade and Bladedge:
    Elemental Hero Deathslicer
    DARK/Warrior
    2100/1800
When this card battles another monster, cards and effects cannot be activated until the end of the damage step, neither player receives battle damage, and neither monster can be destroyed by battle. Negate the effect of a monster that battles this card, and have that monster's ATK and DEF become 0. Also, while it remains faceup on the field, it cannot be used as material to Special Summon a monster from the Extra Deck.
So for all intents and purposes, anything it battles is destroyed(kinda like being sliced by "death"), but still occupies its zone. I haven't played the game in like 8 years, so I have no idea who weak/strong this is, but it's my shot at creating something unique lol

Something that Jaden could’ve done during the penultimate turn was after putting Necroshade to the Graveyard and getting Bubbleman instead, he could’ve normal summoned Bubbleman, draw 2 cards, then he could activate Necroshade in the graveyard. The anime effect states that you can perform an additional normal summon for an Elemental Hero without tributing. Meaning Jaden would have two monsters out on the field, and can still set Edge Shot facedown, and due to Skyscraper’s anime effect, both of his monsters would have 1800 and 3600 ATK during battle. Depending on his 2 cards that he draws may had determined the outcome of the duel a little differently or could’ve prolonged the duel even longer.

Ooh! A chance to share some of my game design practice! I thought through every combination of E-HEROs up to Wildheart. I just need to dust off this old sheet:
Clayman + Bladedge = Sledgeman, who destroys Defense Position monsters it attacks at the start of the Damage Step.
Clayman + Necroshade = Shallow Grave, who can Special Summon monsters it destroys by battle, but they can't attack that turn
Bubbleman + Bladedge = Bubble Surfer, who can destroy face-up spells (No, I don't know why I didn't do face-up Spells/Traps. I don't have another one that handles traps)
Bubbleman + Necroshade = Floodgate, who prevents non-Fusion E-HEROs from being attacked. Also, if it's destroyed by battle, it comes back with 1000 more DEF, but is banished when it leaves the field.
Bladege + Necroshade = Darkblade, who gains 100 ATK for each E-HERO in your GY and inflicts Piercing Battle Damage
...Not too happy with Sledgeman and Bubble surfer, but I like the other 3 to varying degrees. Maybe if Sledgeman did damage based on the opposing monster's DEF and if Bubble Surfer was unaffected by spells? Eh, I'd rather keep these terrible effects for my own personal record.

As an avid HERO designer, I think I can come up with a few Fusions.
Elemental HERO Vorpal Sword (Bubbleman and Bladedge) - [2800/1000] If this card is Special Summoned, draw 2 cards. This monster inflicts Piercing Battle Damage. If this card is destroyed, and its Materials are in the Graveyard, you can Special Summon those two monsters.
It combines the most notable attributes of Bubbleman (Draw cards, Bubble Blaster/Bubble Illusion) and Bladedge (Piercing Damage), and it would help achieve a lot of great comebacks or saves. It'd probably also be one I'd consider summoning in his position.
Elemental HERO Acidrain (Bubbleman and Necroshade) - [2200/1500] While this card is on the field, all non-Warrior-type monsters lose 500 ATK. This card can attack all of your opponent's face-up monsters once each. Once per turn, this card cannot be destroyed by card effect.
This one's a little weirder, but it has a bit of that comeback factor that Necroshade has while being more of a utility monster that can attack multiple targets. It's a bit of a weaker monster to prevent it from being a better Wildedge.
Elemental HERO Excalibur (Clayman and Bladedge) - [2300/2800] If this card is Special Summoned, you can equip one Warrior-type monster from your Graveyard to this card. It gains ATK equal to the equipped monster's ATK. If this card attacks, switch it into Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step. If this card would be destroyed, you may destroy the equipped monster instead.
It's called Excalibur because it's a Sword inside of a Stone. Notably it fights like a knight, switching between attacking and defending.
Elemental HERO Knightedge (Bladedge and Necroshade) - [2400/2400] If this card is Special Summoned, you may add one Spell Card that mentions "Elemental HERO" in its card text, or one "Polymerization" from your deck to your hand. If "Skyscraper" is face-up on the field, this monster can attack directly.
It's Knightedge like "night edge". Fighting crime in the night time lets it get the jump on any villains. This is probably the one I'd summon in the duel on my first turn, just with what I'd know about how Kaiba duels.
Elemental HERO Stalagmighty (Necroshade and Clayman) - [2000/2000] If this card is Special Summoned, you can target 1 "HERO" monster in your Graveyard: Special Summon it. If this card is targeted for an attack: increase its DEF by 500 until the end of this turn. Once per turn, during your opponent's Battle Phase, if an attack is declared: you can change the target of that attack to this card, and if you do, switch this card into Defense Position (if it isn't already) and increase this card's DEF by 1500 during damage calculation.
This one plays into the defensive nature of Clayman and supporting nature of Necroshade, and I think it'd be a staple monster that Judai uses to maintain a strong defensive lead.

    Elementar Hero Dark Guardian
    Clayman + Necroshade
    1200 atk 2800 def
    Dark warrior Monster level 8
If this card is fusion summond, once per turn, you can special summon an Elementar Hero from your hand. During your opponents Battle Phase, if he attacks you can switch the attack to this Monster and if you do once per turn, you can select one Elementar Hero which level is four or below, that card gains deffencepoints equal to the half of that monsters deffence points until the end of the turn. If this card is destroyed by battle or card effekt, special summon one Elementar Hero Clayman or Necroshade in face up deffence on your field. You can only use thag effect once a turn.
So I thougt about that as a better defence card for Jaden. I would like to hear what you think about it, and if you have some improval to make this card more fitting in the GX animee.

Clayman + Bladeedge = Golden Golem. When it attacks a defense position monster, destroy it. Golden Golem gains defense equal to the defense of the destroyed monster and is switch to defense position.
Bubbleman + Bladeedge = Typhoon. When typhoon destroys a defense position monster it is instead banished and you draw one card.

heres my entry for the 4 fusions.
Elemental Hero Claymore- Bladedge + Clayman/ ATK-2800 DEF-2400/ Effect- when attacking a defense position monster inflict
piercing battle damage. once per turn, when a Elemantal Hero monster you control is being attacked you can negate the
attack and change the attacking monster into defense position.
Elemental Hero Knightshade- Bladedge + Necroshade/ ATK-2900 DEF-2000/ Effect-once per turn, you can discard 1 card to
special summon 1 Elemental Hero monster from your GY(ignoring its summoning conditions).
Elemental Hero Necroidgolem- Necroshade + Clayman/ ATK-2100 DEF-2500/ Effect- your opponent cannot target other
Elemental Hero monsters you control for attacks or card effects.once per turn and only once per turn(quick effect),
you can tribute this card then until the end phase of this turn Elemental Hero monsters you control cannot be destroyed
    by battle or card effects.
Elemental Hero Hydrocutter- Bubbleman + Bladedge/ ATK-1600 DEF-1800/ Effect- cannot be destroyed by battle when attacking.
after battling an opponents monster destroy that monster and any spell or trap card your opponent controlled in that same
column if this effect did not destroy a spell or trap card you can destroy a field spell insted.
Elemental Hero Darkwater- Bubbleman + Necroshade/ ATK-1900 DEF-1900/ Effect- when this card is destroyed by battle or
destroys an opponents monster by battle you can draw 2 cards then discard 1 Elemental Hero monster otherwise discard
your entire hand. when your opponents summons a monster(s) half that monster(s) original ATK and DEF until the end of
    your next turn.

I would make elemental hero BladeShade 2,600Atk and 2,200 Def. Effect send one elemental hero from your deck to the GY. Then special summon one elemental hero from your graveyard expect the hero that was sent this turn. This effect can’t be negated and is once per turn.

Bladedge and Bubbleman: Splash Spire (can avoid damage and destruction from battle once per turn. Piercing)
Bladedge and Clayman: RuggedMan or E Hero Stalactite (high defense, can attack in Defense mode, use DEF as ATK like a Superheavy Samurai)
Bladedge and Necroshade: E Hero Doomslasher (piercing and when in the GY, banish the card, return Bladedge or Necroshade and a Polymerization to your hand)
Necroshade and Bubbleman: Moonlit Storm (the Japanese would be Deadly Seas) (draw a card from the top of your deck, reveal it, and banish it. The type of card, Spell, Monster, or Trap, will determine the effect. Monster: send all monsters weaker than Deadly Seas to the GY no target. Spell: Draw 2. Trap: wipe opponent's back row)
Clayman and Necroshade: Mantleborn (like a zombie) (Once per duel, if this Monster is in the GY, discard 1 card and Special Summon Mantleborn to the field, ignoring its Summoning condition. While in the GY, banish this monster and special summon Necroshade and Clayman back to the field (Quick Effect) and these monsters are immune to damage or destruction)

Nowadays with current power creep those hyper specific cards for elemental heroes would have 3 additional effects, function as searchers for any other elemental hero cards, be able to return to the hand by doing almost anything while in the gy, automatically summon the corresponding elemental hero from deck by being activated by themselves, protect elemental heroes from destruction by removing itself from the gy, etc.

He could have fused Bubbleman and Necroshade into Absolute Zero, used Necroshade's effect to summon Bladeedge, crash his Absolute Zero into a Blue-Eyes and blow his field, and attack with Bladeedge. De-fusion on Ultimate Dragon wouldn't stop it with how the chain resolves and Absolute Zero's effect procs. Only bouncing or banishing Absolute Zero could prevent that effect.
So as long as De-Fusion isn't used *on* Absolute Zero in this situation, he'd win.
(Edit: Cleaned up the writing; also just wanna mention every one of the Omni-Heros *except* Absolute Zero requires any HERO. There's a Dark Omni-Hero that could be made too but it's garbage compared to Absolute Zero.)

    Elemental HERO Subterra
    Warrior/EARTH/2300/2000
    Necrosahde+Clayman
(usual Fusion only clause). Cannot be destroyed by card effects. When this card is Fusion Summoned; reveal one spell/trap card that mentions one specific "HERO" monster in your hand. Add the monster mentioned on the revealed card from your deck to your hand.
    Elemental HERO Stoneblade
    Warrior/EARTH/2800/1600
    Bladedge+Clayman
(usual Fusion only clause). When this monster declares an attack on your opponent's Attack Position monster; this monster gains ATK equal to half the attack of that attack target's.
    Elemental HERO Hydroedge
    Warrior/WATER/2400/2400
    Bubbleman+Bladedge
(usual Fusion only clause). When this card is Fusion Summoned; revealed one "Elemental HERO" monster in your hand; add one Spell/Trap card that specifically mentioned the revealed card from your deck or GY to your hand. Once per turn, during your End Phase: You can select one monster your opponent controls: destroy that target and this card, then inflict damage to your opponent equal to their destroyed monster's ATK.
PSCT needs work, but I think these are suitable for attempts at a comeback for the specific duel's case.

Elemental Hero Necroblade (bladege+necroshade) 3000/2000, When fusion summoned you can change the battle position of the opponent's highest attack monster. If this attacks a defense position monster, inflict piercing battle damage.
Elemental Hero Quicksand (clayman+necroshade) 2500/1500, While this card is on the field all non-EH monsters lose 500 ATK points for each EH monster in your graveyard. While this card is in your graveyard and you control no monsters, you can banish this card to special summon 1 EH Clayman from your graveyard to your field in face up defense position.
Elemental Hero Shining Shield (clayman+bladedge) 2000/3500, If you control at least 1 other EH monster or card that mentions EHs, this card can attack from defense position using its DEF for damage calculation. Some ideas for fusions of the 4 he couldn't fuse with properly.
I think Necroshade and Clayman would make something like "Elemental Hero Hostile Desert" and it would be a defense position-based monster that deals double damage to any monster that crashes into it, and searches field spells on summon or something.
Bubbleman and Bladedge could be "Elemental Hero Waterblade" and would dhave the piercing effect of Bladedge but can destroy a spell/trap when it successfully deals piercing damage.
Honestly, Bladedge and Necroshade fusing sounds like it would be an Evil Hero card called "Evil Hero Deathblade" or something. It would probably search for high level Evil Heroes and do piercing damage (Aka more of an engine fusion).

    2000 ATK 3000 DEF
this card can attack while in defense position. If this card would be destroyed, you can discard 1 card instead.

Yugi and Atem being number one since between them, they have the power of the millennium puzzle and the spiritual power of Egyptian gods, while Kaiba at number two is able to make anything happen by his unparalleled willpower that can even trample magic and then after that, of course we have Jaden at number three with the power of the supreme king and the gentle darkness.

If we're making the fusion effects take aspects from both materials, keeping things simple & down at GX level. Necroshade + Bubbleman seems like it'd maybe have some form of card cycling, like a mill then recover a card from your grave, or maybe card draw when it destroys a monster by battle. Namewise I want to say something like "Foam Abyss" for that water/ bubble + darkness angle.
Clayman (earth) + Necroshade (dark/ grave) is giving me major "monster reborn on legs" vibes though I could also see it being literally Necrovalley. If ever there was a zombie Elemental HERO this would probably be it.
Bubble + Bladedge could be "Razor Mist", piercing + card draw on dealing battle damage. Alternatively it could play off Bubble Shuffle (another highly specific E-HERO support card) and have a battle position switching effect, which might be in addition or might take the place of the card draw. It'd fit too since iirc we first saw Bladedge AND bubble Shuffle was in Jaden's duel vs Titan, where he used BS to put the Summoned Skull retrain into defence position so he could pierce through it for lethal damage using Bladedge, but that might be too on the nose and self referential for GX era GX cards, they'd need to be new legacy support to get away with that.
Of course the funniest outcome would be if mud, bubbles, razor blades, and shady dead people all fused together to make Elemental HERO Yugiman, who's effect adds up to 5 DARK Spellcasters with different names to your hand on summon, provided your opponent is/ controls Kaibaman or Blue-Eyes White Dragon that is. This is an intentionally silly suggestion but somehow that combination of fusion materials doesn't feel wholly off brand for Yugi/ the Pharoah, based on the elements each HERO identifies by.

    Fusion idea 1:
Dunno about the name but Bubbleman and Necroshade could have a combination of their effects perhaps?
If fusion monster is fusion summoned and is the only card on the owner's field, the owner can add up to 2 elemental hero monsters from their deck and/or graveyard and if player hasn't normal summoned this turn yet, they can special summon one of the monsters as if it was a normal summon (normal summoning rules apply)
Since this seems to be all before NeoSpace the fusion monster would be kind of an unofficial Bladedge support in a way or could set stage for more fusions to quickly join the field
My main thought was to make use of Necroshade's effect in tandem with the fusion.
Fusion summoning the monster, would send Necroshade into the graveyard -> level 5+ elemental heroes can be summoned without a tribute (only realized midway that only Neos and Bladedge apply - there is Poison Rose who is lvl 6 but her effect makes her not viable)
If fusion monster is solo on the field, player can search for Bladedge and summon him cuz Necroshade should make the summoning legal
As mentioned, realized it would only apply to Bladedge so instead decided to make the effect to search for elemental heroes in general instead of level 5+
With Neo-Spacians added this card would help player summon Neos on the field (since Neos usually ends up being the boss monster/win condition)
Feedback? Please? (also note i haven't played the game in over a year, so please don't skewer me for lacking instant destruction protection and all that mumbo jumbo)

For bladeedge and clayman fusion, my idea is called elemental hero earthsplitter, basically looking like a heavily armored Viking with a huge greataxe, with 3000 atk and 2800 def, it’s effect would be piercing battle damage + a discard ability to prevent its own destruction from battle(and card effects if it’s made for more modern decks)
