I am lowkey crying at the reaction of Sun’s parents.. and how refreshing (especially in Asian culture), is it to see 2 accepting parents who Sun didn’t have to come out to or hide from. They accepted her, accepted Ongsa and have done a beautiful job at expressing “love has no gender”. They truly just want to see their daughter happy. My gf is Filipina and it’s so hard to watch her navigate her sexuality in an Asian household as well as myself in a Hispanic setting. It’s hard for any culture, but something about other cultures (Hispanic, Asian etc ).. the task to be gay seems harder and more strenuous. I love this series so far and I love how Thailand addresses lgbt topics and how much they celebrate EVERYONE 🎉🌈🏳️🌈
