My daughter's prayer card had the last part of "the ride" on it. I miss her every single day as I do this man's music.

I met him before a show and had him sign one of my old rodeo numbers. He’s a big guy. I’m 6’ and 200 and he made me feel small. When I shook his hand I realized why I wasn’t a great bareback bronc rider. My hand felt like a little girl hand in his grip. I was amazed and ashamed. He was a real cool dude though and the show was excellent.

Thank you to the makers of this movie for including "Curio" an Australia buckjumper who started her career in 1945 as a 3 yr old in Marrabel Rodeo, S.A.
The photo is of Alan Woods in 1953 who looks for all money gone, but who managed to get his seat back and rode time.
The first scoring ride on the strawberry roan mare after 8yrs of bucking out.
The following year Alan Woods again rode the mare and scored.
Curio was ridden a 3rd time in her career, later that day by Buddy Gravener who touched down.
She died at the age of 28 in 1970, after producing 5 foals.
Again, thank you for including our, probably greatest ever buck jumper in the Chris Le Doux story.
i'm sure Chris was as fascinated by that photo as many Australian ringers and rodeo men here were.
That photo was on the wall of many ringers quarters which you Americans call bunk houses.
A very famous photo instantly recognisable.
    Check out the photo of
Buddy Gravener riding "Cloudbuster" found on Google.
..now to finish watching this preview.

@@joeybagley3873 Apparently, as rumor has it, my dad and some of his friends went to see Chris LeDoux play when he had a concert in my area in the 90s. At that same concert were my mom with some of her friends and at least two of her siblings. And at the SAME concert, several of my teachers were there. My folks didn't know each other then and my teachers were likely between 16 and early 20s.
I forget how many times my dad saw Chris, but I know at least 4-5 times. The last time was when my mom was pregnant with me
