Making peace with the past, making peace with your decisions. Musings that moving brings about. This is a month-long vlog with clips from mid February through mid March.
Dear Alexis, I am so relieved that a video of you has come online again. I was a bit worried that you were gone so abruptly. But there really has been a lot going on with you. Congratulations on the new house! It looks really nice. I find your thoughts on home, house etc. very exciting. The book with the crab sounds interesting. I'll look for it for my children. Incidentally, I've only moved within a radius of around 30 km four times so far. But each time it had to do with growth. That's interesting. I'm also familiar with these low periods in winter. I live in Germany and we've had almost nothing but rain and gray skies from November to March. It's exasperating. What helps me is to stick to my routines unconditionally. So sport, nutrition, creative work... And to always keep in mind that only the weather has changed, not me and not my mental situation. That way I can at least get through most days. I was wondering half the video, if your sweatshirt was Twilight merch :D In any case, I'm very happy that you're back and I hope to see lots of new videos from you! Best regards Gesa
“Can’t out run January/February.” I experience the same thing. Thank you so much for sharing. Congratulations on your new house and all the other fruits of your labors. Know that you are always seen. You are not alone. You are not an orphan. You are magnificent and loved. I am so excited for you and Garrett. 🎉❤
This video is so honest and endearing, I loved getting the tour and hearing your feelings about moving out of Idaho and how you feel about San Francisco. Congratulations on your move, best wishes!
I totally understand! My wife and I started in… 140 sq ft then 230 (during 2020) and upgrading to a real one bedroom with a DOOR TO THE BEDROOM was life changing haha ❤ enjoy your new space!
Congrats on your new place! Next winter, venture to the East Bay for some breaks! It’s still gray, but less heavy. We’ve got green rolling hills, yummy food, and colorful murals around every corner in Livermore. 🤗
Thats a beautiful apartment. I lived in the bay area most of my life, before moving out of state a few years ago. I’m glad you like it there. Btw, I really like the vlog. Hope you do more in the future
Wishing you both success and prosperity on your path forward. Not to be a downer but moving is rated one of the top 3 most stressful events in peoples lives. Your generally positive attitude will be necessary to offset that stress. I love SF. I vacationed there once and always dreamed of moving there. In fact my dream was almost realized after receiving a modest inheritance that would've of allowed me to afford the move. At the time though i had a 6yr old high strung Afghan Hound and felt it may effect her health negatively. In hindsight and had I applied my auxillary NE more assertively, the move most likely would of turned out favorably for both of us. But no regrets here. I've always found regrets a waste of time and energy. I mean, I comprehend my bad choices, i just don't feel regret for them. Anyway, enough about me, lol. Enjoy your new digs Peace
Great video! You are discussing the important life decisions. It's always good to here others' experiences and opinions on these sort of things. Have you considered living on the east side of the bay? The weather over there tends to be sunnier than SF. Do you prefer to live in the city? Constant overcast skies are tough 🤣(PNW native here). Your new place looks great.

That’s a great insight…..that decluttering is like making peace with your past. Thanks for sharing that.
Try living in inland CA like me and you dream of rainy days . Never overcast. The hot bright sunny days that rarely end is depressing. -INTJ
