Did Draymond Ruin the Warriors' Season?

  • Willard and Dibs debate if Draymond Green ruined the Warriors season by not being available often enough. If you think so, then doesn't that imply that the Warriors still need Draymond to be a good basketball team? And as a result, shouldn't you still want him on the team?

    Poole ended his season pretty well in Washington. Last 10 games he averaged 23ppg, 8 assists and 4.5 rebounds. He turned it around after they fired the coach who was playing him in the wrong position.
    Hey Willard? Who on the Warriors averaged that in their last 10 games? I'll tell ya! ABSOLUTELY NO ONE! 😅😂

      The warrior's media is clueless; Poole is a young player who probably got a little ahead of his skies; there's no denying his talent or contribution to their winning. He gave Curry just the kind of breaks he needed throughout the season to be fresh come play-offs.. curry played a lot more games because Green destroyed another season, and Curry's legs were dead. Poole could have helped them a lot this year. I dont know him to have an opinion about his character, but basketball-wise, they made a huge mistake, in my opinion

    Important context, since Dibs gets so triggered by Draymond that he can't see straight, STEPH is the one who said "we ain't done", could still be wrong, but Dibs it's reacting as if Draymond said it lol

    i think this season shows how valuable he is the most, we win 60% of our games with him and he missed 20, woulda been a top 6 seed if dray never got suspended

      Yeah, don't get the Hate. Klay is as harmful as he is helpful - when healthy! Green's only problem is keeping his gears in place, and not blowing gaskets to cause suspensions. Otherwise, he's the second most important warrior, if you want wins. Because of his antics, it has hurt, not gonna lie, but you can't separate the fat from the meat, they are both attached to the bone.

    would ship all 3 of them out. And in due times when they are ready to be waived by other teams then bring them all back in their final season before retirement.
    i would sell high and ship out Curry for jalen green & jabari smith jr

    Draymond didn’t ruin the last two seasons because of his absence. He ruined the seasons because of his destructive behavior and that affected the team beyond / more than his absence. I understand the feelings of Steph and Kerr, but I’d get rid of Draymond.
    Math: Draymond, CP, Wiggins, Klay, and Payton make about 120 million. Can you translate that money and those players into two all stars making 40-50 million each? Say Giannis and Jaylen Brown. Then you’d have a fun - and probably successful - team. 😀. I realize this may be very hard to do but ……

      @Khoanhdoi Před měsícem +2

      Draymond also freezed out Klay and deliberately stopped passing the ball to him forcing his numbers down so Kerr had to involve Klay around in various ways.

      Giannis and Jaylen Brown? If you gonna dream, why not Luka and Jokic? Fact of the matter is, no one *WANTS* CP, Wiggins, Klay or Payton for more than they could just pay for them as free agents. Not saying those guys are without value, Just not getting back more than a bag of chips for them at this point. And, two all-stars?
