I find a pair of ruined walls from the game Heroscape at the thrift store. I repaint them and get them ready for use as terrain in games as varied as Frostgrave and Warhammer 40k.
While I do own several sets of Heroscape. I have not used them games as of yet. I even have a Marvel Avengers themed Heroscape set that came with its own ruined building. So far all of the Heroscape has remained together. For now it will stay that way. I am glad you rescued the ruined walls from the Play-Dough grab bag though.
Wait a minute...I HAVE THAT WALL! Well part of it. I got the big box thousands of years ago and somehow kept the tiles and the short wall. I also have a lot of the minis...somewhere. So cool to see others out in the wild.
Nice find, and well painted! Quite the visual upgrade! :D Btw, maybe those two cones could work as tower spire roofs? Maybe they're too small, but that's what immediately popped into my head when I saw them. ;)
I'm looking forward to seeing you paibt the Empire flagellents. I have that exact box, I believe, if they are the metal ones. I bought them about 9 years ago when I was putting together a Witch Hunters watch and for Mordheim. Sadly that never came about.
Do you use Heroscape stuff for other games?
I don’t yet
@@RIVERSRPGChannel I love the old Heroscape stuff.
I have
@@calvanoni5443 it is good stuff
I used the flight stands & smaller pieces stacked for elevation.

Nice find, they came out great.
Thank you Danny.
Oh, orcs... You had the chance to save the very fabric of reality, but failed. And it's YOUR month! Next time bring more orc boys!
That might have worked, more orcs.
HeroScape more like the start of 21st Century, would have been cast iron or lithograph if start of 20th century.
Yes indeed. My slip up.

Thanks, they may very well end up as spire roofs.
Very nice.
I figured the horror would win.
Ya, I don’t think those orcs stood a chance.
Same!
Lucky find. I have all 3 of the MtG Planeswalker Arena game based on HeroScape, but missed out on this game when it came out.
Those Planeswalker versions have some cool stuff in them.
That's some good thrifting! Nice work.
Thank you
I have 8+ Castles for heroscape and loads of terrain and models. I collected it when it was out. Super glad I held onto it.
I bet. It’s great stuff. Sadly I got rid of a lot during a move.

I bought mine a while ago too. I am going to use them as Blood marked barbarian for Frostgrave
You always find great finds!
Do you notice a difference between using gesso vs. regular can of spray primer?
I can’t use spray primer. I live in a small one bedroom apartment. The fumes would kill me.
@@MonsterPainter oh, I see! Do you find gesso goes on easy and adheres to plastic alright? Or do you usually need a few coats?
@@Stray_GM it bushes on easy and is an excellent surface to paint on, but it is thicker than spray. It adhesion is top notch even on plastic.
I've been wondering what to do with these walls and I have to say, I might have to liberate your idea and use them FG as well.
They make a great addition to old Felstad.
