The throw is a high, so you can crouch. You can also move away from it by either doing an attack that moves you forward or maybe sidestepping.

this question was asked on stream but never answered: I see you wavu wavu when your are very near or even against an opponent up close and yet they never do anything against it, why is that?
am I missing some fundamental info here? does something hit mid or is smth from wavu start here faster than any other move?
Its simply pressure. You can either block or challenge a wave mixup. Challenge could stop pressure and/or give damage... or you could be launched.
But if you accept the Wave mix, you can potentially get a launch as well, or eat a bit of damage. Its a pretty scary thing to deal with, watch Boaluvb (korean) if you'd like to see the power of the wavu mix

@@josephcruz7787 throws have frame windows to break them. some have more, like generic throws, and some less like command throws e.g shining wizard. you can google the frame data or use the frame tool ingame. for shining wizard visually you have to press anywhere from the point he grabs you to the point before his knee hits your face. I recommend mashing 1+2, if you know its coming.

You really have to work on it to make it useful, also the opponent has to be conditioned to duck. Watch Knee's Kazuya vs Justice's Paul and you will see him using it a lot.

Unrelated to your video great content btw. Is it just me or is the tekken story just all over the place. Ive played since tekken one and my main attraction to the game is followong the mishima storyline plus a few others. Does anyone disagree that it shouldnt take 7 cannon games to make sense of everything. Mortal kombat handled this situatuon by retelling the story. Heihachi is gone with kazuya and jin to end tge bloodline but we still dont fully understand anything about it.

I have learned a lot from you. Over the course of years, you have been the single biggest influence on my gameplay. That being said, whenever I watch you play with any of the big names, I can see that you are way better than them but you stop playing crazy, you stop having fun, you only think of punishment and stop attacking as much as you should.
You turn into this calculating gamer who gets pushed into corner due to his analysis paralysis. The result is that you are always on the reactive side, responding to their attacks instead of making them react to you.
BoA is good because BoA is hardly ever on defensive but with your knowledge of the game you have it in you to be so so much better.
Even if pressure is a factor it sounds like you are milking TMM a bit too much.
