David its great watching your progress , you take a lot of time to show people what really goes on , brilliant nice new trailer especially being a euro liner giving you more options for loads , and you should be proud of how much you have achieved , looking forward to see the new unit when it comes , keep the vlogs coming
Really enjoy your videos, good mix of everything, I enjoy the length of videos you tend to do, and the content is always informative and helpful. I think it sets you apart from many others. I mean some footage of the mountains is great and loading and tipping is good. It’s everything else you put into the channel. Really enjoy it and look forward to following your progress and success!
Loving the great content , you are coming across very well and confident David from zero to hero , keep up the good work and you will reel great rewards , I am from a family of drivers and I had a very bad upbringing , my father was a very very violent narcissistic bully , my betting’s were so severe that I was u able to follow my dream’ to drive class one and to have my own truck one day obviously that won’t happen as the nerves behind my left eye were so damaged I could not pass the required medical . I spent 40 yr doing uk Europe and middle east on a 7,1/2 T truck , so in fairness I followed some of my dreams but from a violent back ground it was the best of a bad job , i now talk openly about my past as thankfully he is now dead and I can walk the streets not looking over my shoulder & as I said he is dead so some good came of it .
Just got to the end of your video. I personally wouldn't watch a 4 hour driving video but my God people LOVE them. I've seen similar length videos with hundreds of thousands of views. I'd recommend you put some up!
Hey mate. Your channel is top class, totally different from other channels. You show and explain about the job rather than just talking shit to the camera. As for stuff I would like to see. Well I've been a class 2 driver for many years and recently started class 1 fuel tanker driving and after the new year I will be going on to tramping work. So what I would like to see is what you do in your rest time, what do you do to entertain yourself, what eat and how you cook. What the truck stop facilities are like, showers ect. And thanks again for the good content mate.
Boss videos mate information is second to none. Not on any other social media do can't drop you a line. Can you give tips on strapping down a load. Nice one.
Great video. Don't worry about multiple camera angles and drone shots etc. I find a lot of those type of vlogs are over sanitised and a turn off. Ir's the quality of the content that matters and you've managed it already. Personally, I'm not a fan of overdubbed music either. My favourite is to hear an engine working hard climbing a long pass fully loaded.
Great video. I drive a rigid in my country but it's hard to spot a curtain-sider. We use corrugated bodies with fully lockable side and rear doors. They offer excellent load security but the downside is that they are heavy which limits the weight you can carry. I do hope this migrant crisis is resolved once and for all since it gives the driver needless anxiety
Here in Japan, you will never see a curtain sided trailer. All the trailers here use a one third drop down side and the upper part is a gull wing style with half the roof and two thirds of the side wall raising together. That allows a wide load area and a hard sided trailer. I know that trailers here are shorter in length and I suspect that the trailer height is slightly lower than that in Europe. That said, standard shipping containers are hauled here as in Europe, so I doubt there is much difference. One of the biggest manufacturers of trailers here is 'Nippon Fruehauf'. They have an English page on their website, so it is easy to see and navigate to see what I am talking about if you or anyone else is interested.
I'm doing my class 1 to help my daughter at uni - got my second test on 18/10/23 I just let the first one get to me lol - I think your vloggs are great and all the extra camera angles don't make your content better. I know this is 10 month old content and you are succeding as there are many more vids for me to watch, keep it up !
I got that offer in Italy. Thought "I'm the decoy for a larger shipment. 🤔 I'll run through Holland and sell it but then I'd be the victim of a mafia hit job?" So I politely declined 🤣
Video on dealing with customs and what to do to clear customs. Also booking in on train and ferry an boarding. Oh and the procedure for going through the Mont blanc with fridge and with curtain. Only if you have time of course 😉 👌
Really interesting dude, you will never please everyone so a mix of time-lapse and raw is good for the more interesting bits... as for checking the trailer maybe you could fix a cheap video doorbell to the bulkhead and a WiFi hotspot in the cab which would alert you to movement on your phone....
Excellent content there mate and you present it very well. You’re right who would want to watch 4 hrs of just driving. Has Brexit been a problem for you? I’m living in Denmark doing mainly DSV ferry trailers from UK/IRL and it seems like things just get busier and busier. Very rare nowadays to have some trl rejected due to no MRN or something. Looking forward to your next vlog…
David, just a thought as it’s something I’ve thought about previously… would something like a ring doorbell work? Mount that inside the trailer near the front, maybe even one at the front and back and have that linked to your phone. It would alert you of any movement via a notification
Great video, if you have the same trailer all the time, would it be worth mounting a camera inside the headboard of the trailer? Nice little wireless one? Just a thought
Yes, Luxembourg was a prime place for being asked to take contraband back. I was asked every time I went to fill up with diesel at the shell station. Not a chance.
Love the converation on the immigrants and how to prevent them accessing. What do you do if and have ou come accross immigrants in your truck? Also couldnt watch 10 minites myself of just driving never mind 4 hoirs but each to their own :).
retired hgv driver never did europe in a truck but have done in a car a lot, my questions is boat or train is it down to money V time ? enjoying the vlogs cheers.
Dave I don’t know if you remember when AJ took you over to Calais for Mr O’Brien, but anyway, he is the TM at our company now and we can sort cuts in roof/curtain etc if you need, just send him a message or whatever, 10 mins from train 👍
NED KELLY the best in EUROPE , AndLorry diaries with SHERRALIN She will blow your mind, spain gibralta morroco tunisia she has done it all .And sherralin glues the bolts on her back doors even padlocked they undid her back door bolts .
So this is tour own truck yer and trailer how about cctv in the trailer if I was a driver and had own truck or work let me have 1 I use i would be very tech and cctv mirrors in the back even mic with trailer
In the mid 1990s about 95 was at my dads place just outside Paris and I got mugged by 3 rodent immigrant swines up the road from as place he was a scared like he was burnt like took my brand new Walkman what was over 120 of english cash but in frech Frank's
Your videos are great, others have fancy cameras true and they make crap videos going on about nothing. Nice ladder, but why not do what the customs people use, no not dogs, a mirror on a stick or a camera on a stick. Try putting a baby monitor in your trailer, that why if anyone gets iin you can hear them, I don't get why it isn't commonly used.
OK typing second time.. Yes there are advantages with cameras and you can get really small and cheap ones, but you would need a trailer light on so the camera's infa red lights are not needed. Mics are cheaper, easier hidden and use less power. Love the trailer by the way, seems really nicely designed.
Man I feel bad for you guys worrying about immigrants. It's hard enough being a truck driver, let alone dealing with actual people trying to sneak into the trailers lol. Glad we don't have that issue in Australia.
@@dceuropean cool the new actros is great gear box is loads better . Fuel is much better on the mercs . How much would it be put my sons name on we lost him in 2002 ?
Personally I love pov driving .. loading, unloading and daily life with commentary by you.. that would be awesome. Pov driving alone can be boring but... with the mix of what I've mentioned.. I could watch 4hrs of it

Really interesting, I learnt a lot that us day drivers never even have to think about!

It's not all about cameras etc etc. Your verbal communication is very good, clear and educational. Keep smiling and be lucky.
Another great video David, keep them coming. No a driver but work as a co-ordinator. I like a timelapse or two.
I got that offer in Italy. Thought "I'm the decoy for a larger shipment. 🤔 I'll run through Holland and sell it but then I'd be the victim of a mafia hit job?" So I politely declined 🤣
David’s off to Glastonbury next year with that ladder 😂😂
Great video really enjoy watching them thanks

Shame can't put a remote electric fence charger on the trailer.
Love the video. ⚡⚠️😃
Crack on doing what your doing David very informative as usual
I thought the special purchase was going to be a mega extendable selfie stick.
Those extendable ladder are ace for cleaning trucks
What truck 🚛🚚 are you going to get David and thanks again for a great 👍 video.

How often will you check for stowaways and contraband on your truck? Apart of your daily checks?
Trying to hit the bell on your page, coming up with an error message. I have subscribed
Hi Keith, I will try have a look into it, im new to this ! thank you for the suppoprt
Yo it like 5x tictocs, you could show us the services you use, looking forward to the new truck 😉
ever thought of getting one of those heat detector cameras to check the back? i imagine one of them would be perfect for it.
Great video, if you have the same trailer all the time, would it be worth mounting a camera inside the headboard of the trailer? Nice little wireless one? Just a thought
Hi David. Great videos with some funny bits lol 😆 Keep safe out there cheers Stevie 👍🏻

Your 51?? Also the hoodies with the #speakup tag are there any for sale or a way to get one with that on?
Dave I don’t know if you remember when AJ took you over to Calais for Mr O’Brien, but anyway, he is the TM at our company now and we can sort cuts in roof/curtain etc if you need, just send him a message or whatever, 10 mins from train 👍
Hi James,
Thank you for that, can you drop me a dm on instagram?
👌🏼
I would love to see some pov
Maybe you could put a couple of small Bluetooth cameras in the top corners of the trailer they’re not so expensive these days 🤷🏼♂️
Good work mate
Get a camera tether of ebay loads of different types.
What size that hoodie

I'm new subscribers. 👍👍
Are you a Traveller?
Your videos are great, others have fancy cameras true and they make crap videos going on about nothing.
Nice ladder, but why not do what the customs people use, no not dogs, a mirror on a stick or a camera on a stick.
Try putting a baby monitor in your trailer, that why if anyone gets iin you can hear them, I don't get why it isn't commonly used.
I am looking into a camera system for the trailer, the issue is if they climb in they will brake it...
OK typing second time.. Yes there are advantages with cameras and you can get really small and cheap ones, but you would need a trailer light on so the camera's infa red lights are not needed. Mics are cheaper, easier hidden and use less power.
Love the trailer by the way, seems really nicely designed.
Putting a 🐅 in the back would stop them 😂
Won’t have any problems in Luxembourg
Man I feel bad for you guys worrying about immigrants. It's hard enough being a truck driver, let alone dealing with actual people trying to sneak into the trailers lol. Glad we don't have that issue in Australia.
I would have merc any day then a DAF 😊
I have to upgrade due to the toll tax on the Euro 5 ...
@@dceuropean cool the new actros is great gear box is loads better . Fuel is much better on the mercs . How much would it be put my sons name on we lost him in 2002 ?
Gwt a camera on a extendable stick
Let me know he immigrants in. They humans and every human matters
£130 well spent mate
See maybe you could just do live videos rather than uploading a 4 hour vid and have super chats in the stream but with stream labs what wont take 50%
what a state off affairs maybe a machine gun on the back off the trailer
Shame it’s not a 10 ton weight falling on the 🐀s
show us the immigrants when youre there
hopefully none! haha
If there are any you don't stop to film the fuckers you go as fast as you can to stop the bastards getting onboard! 🤣
Personally I love pov driving .. loading, unloading and daily life with commentary by you.. that would be awesome. Pov driving alone can be boring but... with the mix of what I've mentioned.. I could watch 4hrs of it
